The iPhone 17 is expected to be unveiled on September 9th. Similar to previous years, Apple's latest smartphone line will launch alongside a range of corresponding accessories. Besides silicone cases, rumors suggest Apple may introduce several new accessories.
First, leaker Majin Bu predicts that fabric cases will return to the iPhone 17 under the name TechWoven. Apple previously launched FineWoven fabric cases, replacing leather cases for environmental reasons. However, FineWoven received many complaints due to its low durability and lack of elegance, leading Apple to discontinue production after a year.
Based on rumors, TechWoven's fabric material has been improved to address the shortcomings of FineWoven. According to Majin Bu, the new material helps protect the case from impacts, scratches, and wear and tear, while maintaining an elegant, minimalist appearance.

Leaked images reveal that the TechWoven case comes in five colors: black, blue, brown, green, and purple. The product remains compatible with MagSafe magnetic charging, while its anti-slip texture enhances grip and reduces the risk of drops.
According to 9to5Mac , TechWoven's new material may be based on rPET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate), a fabric made from recycled plastic bottles.
This material helps reduce reliance on virgin plastic, lowering carbon emissions compared to polyester, aligning with Apple's 2030 environmental goals.
Majin Bu also revealed a new strap accessory for the iPhone 17. Temporarily called the Crossbody Strap, the product allows you to wear your iPhone around your neck or wrist, adding a stylish touch or preventing it from falling when holding the phone.
According to Bu, all iPhone 17 cases (including silicone and TechWoven cases) will have a lanyard attachment hole on the bottom, secured by magnets.
The entire cable has a metal core that allows the wires to magnetically attach and detach, while a magnetic mechanism makes attaching and detaching the cable easier. Apple is expected to use a similar strap system for AirPods Pro 3.
Rumors suggest the strap will be made from woven nylon, similar to the Apple Watch's Sport Loop Band, notable for its lightness and breathability. However, Apple may introduce a silicone version, offering a softer and more elastic feel.

Back in May, The Information predicted that Apple would release a separate battery case for the iPhone 17 Air. This move stemmed from Apple having to "sacrifice" battery capacity to achieve a thinner design (5.5 mm according to rumors).
"During internal testing, Apple determined that the percentage of users who could use the iPhone 17 Air all day without charging was around 60-70%. For other iPhone models, that number reached 80-90%," the news site reported.
Apple introduced the Smart Battery Case with the iPhone 11 series, followed by the MagSafe Battery Pack for iPhone 12 and later models. This product was discontinued after the iPhone switched from the Lightning port to USB-C.
Finally, Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman revealed that Apple "has been considering/testing" a new type of case for the iPhone 17 Air. Instead of covering the entire back, this case would only protect the frame, similar to the Bumper case for the iPhone 4.
In theory, the bezel case helps showcase the ultra-slim design and glossy back of the iPhone 17 Air while still providing a certain level of protection. However, detailed information about this accessory is still quite limited.
