Artist Sophie Trinh stated that through the exhibition "Layers of Emotion," she wanted to convey a message of sharing. “In today's life, everyone carries their own burdens, but sometimes it's difficult to express them. Everyone harbors a longing to be understood, loved, and cared for. These are intense emotions that are often suppressed and cannot be expressed… And I want to convey these things through my artwork,” said artist Sophie Trinh.
From the moment the exhibition was introduced, it touched the emotions of many people. Among them, the renowned artist Ngo Xuan Binh called the project "Sophie's inner world ," and praised her as a talent.
Sharing his experience at the exhibition, artist Ngo Xuan Binh expressed: “The impression was one of pristine clarity and burst forth with many fresh, pure rays of light, compelling me to step back and forth, re-examining the precious highlights, the empty spaces where poetic inspiration flowed, and the bold and subtle strokes with the right colors…”.
Artist Ngo Xuan Binh congratulates artist Sophie Trinh.
According to artist Ngo Xuan Binh, for centuries, countless artists have painted realistic nudes of their beloved sisters, mothers, grandmothers, or even themselves as models. However, finding a unique gap in structure, shading, and composition is a difficult task. But Sophie Trinh's works have fully expressed that spirit and touched the emotions of the viewers.
Artist Ngo Xuan Binh sent his congratulations and wished Sophie Trinh "to always move forward, achieve success, and always be quantifiable."
Not only artist Ngo Xuan Binh, but also artist Le Thiet Cuong had glowing words when talking about Sophie Trinh's works. According to him, these paintings are a combination of realistic light and abstract, conventional space, with a touch of the free-flowing lines of expressionism.
“Sophie isn't an artist who wants to break new ground with groundbreaking creativity; instead, she wants to use the language of painting and the blending of different styles to tell her own personal story. That's why her paintings are gentle, friendly, and approachable, and this approach allows the artist to explore and create many different themes and stories,” artist Le Thiet Cuong expressed.
