Emotional layers are the inner world of Sophie Trinh

Artist Sophie Trinh said that through the exhibition "Layers of Emotions", she wanted to convey a message of sharing. "In today's life, everyone has their own feelings in their hearts but sometimes it is difficult to express them, everyone has hidden desires to be understood, loved and cared for. These are strong emotions but are often suppressed, unable to be expressed... And I want to convey those things in my works", said artist Sophie Trinh.

Since the exhibition was introduced, it has touched the emotions of many people. Among them, famous artist Ngo Xuan Binh called this project "Sophie's inner world ", and at the same time evaluated her as a talent.

When sharing his experience at the exhibition, artist Ngo Xuan Binh expressed: “The impression is crystal clear and radiates many new, pristine rays of light, forcing me to step back and look again at the precious light spaces, the empty spaces where poetic inspiration flows, the bold and light strokes of the right color…”.

According to artist Ngo Xuan Binh, there have been countless centuries of realistic nude paintings of beloved sisters, mothers, grandmothers or even themselves. But finding a unique gap in structure, tone and composition is a difficult task. However, Sophie Trinh’s works have fully expressed that spirit and touched the emotions of viewers.

Artist Ngo Xuan Binh sent his congratulations and wished Sophie Trinh "to always move forward, reap success and always be quantitative".

Not only artist Ngo Xuan Binh but also artist Le Thiet Cuong had "winged" words when talking about Sophie Trinh's works. According to him, these paintings are a combination of realistic light and abstract conventional space, mixed with a bit of the free-flowing lines of expressionism.

“Sophie is not an artist who wants to move towards something new and innovative, but she wants to use the language of painting and the blending of schools of thought to tell her own personal narrative. That is why the paintings are gentle, friendly and close, and at the same time, in this way, the female artist can have a lot of potential to exploit and create many different themes and stories,” artist Le Thiet Cuong expressed.

Sophie Trinh expressed her happiness and emotion at the reception from everyone. According to her, the presence and feelings of everyone for her work are a source of happiness and great motivation.

“Thank you to the public for accepting the series of passionate oil paintings I created over the six years since my father passed away. These works are not only art but also my spiritual children, born from the pain and strength I found in loneliness. Each painting reflects my soul, inviting you to discover your own story in it,” the artist said.

The exhibition "Layers of Emotion" lasts until September 2nd at the 3rd Floor - Exhibition House of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association (No. 16 Ngo Quyen, Hanoi ).
