(QNgTV)- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested the Ministry of Science and Technology to preside over, together with the Ministry of Construction and relevant ministries and branches, to select the high-speed railway technology most suitable for Vietnam's conditions.

The policy of the Central Committee, the Politburo and the National Assembly Resolution has determined the design speed of high-speed railways to be 350 km/h. Therefore, it is necessary to study and select effective and synchronous technology and develop regulations and standards based on that technology.

The completed standards must be publicly announced, applied for implementation, as well as calling for investment in many forms: public investment capital, public-private partnership (PPP) and other forms of investment using legal capital sources. The deadline is October 2025 to complete the announcement of standards and regulations, as a basis for implementing the next steps of the project.
