The Trade Remedies Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade announces a postponement of the deadline for submitting responses to the anti-dumping investigation questionnaire on wood fiberboard from Thailand and China.
Accordingly, on October 3, 2024, the Trade Remedies Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Notice No. 144/TB-PVTM regarding the issuance of the investigation questionnaire for foreign manufacturers and exporters in the case. Investigation into the application of anti-dumping measures against certain wood fiberboard products originating from the Kingdom of Thailand and the People's Republic of China (AD21).
Accordingly, the deadline for responding to the survey questionnaire is before 5:00 PM on November 8, 2024 ( Hanoi time).

During the preparation of responses to the investigation questionnaire, foreign manufacturers/exporters who are parties to the case sent letters to the Trade Remedies Department requesting an extension of the deadline for responding to the questionnaire, citing the large amount of data required and the need for more time to collect and prepare the relevant data fully and accurately.
To facilitate the participation of businesses in answering the questionnaire, ensuring objectivity and fairness among stakeholders in order to provide complete and accurate information for the assessment of the case; based on Clause 2, Article 35 of Government Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP dated January 15, 2018, detailing some provisions of the Law on Foreign Trade Management on trade defense measures, the Investigating Authority issued Notice No. 214/TB-PVTM dated November 4, 2024, extending the deadline for answering the investigation questionnaire for foreign producers/exporters in case AD21 until November 25, 2024 (Hanoi time). After the aforementioned deadline, the Investigating Authority may use available data in accordance with the law on trade defense.
For other matters, the Trade Remedies Department requests that companies follow the instructions in the official investigation questionnaire issued under Notice No. 144/TB-PVTM dated October 3, 2024, by the Investigating Authority.
