How happy it is that among the countless paths to move forward to touch their dreams, my former students chose the pedagogical university.

In the recent admission season, the education sector has received good news: The benchmark scores for many pedagogical majors have skyrocketed. The teachers around me are delighted because the position of teachers is being maintained and nurtured by the right policies for the teaching profession.

Good news about the teaching profession continues to come after a series of decisions from various sectors to "revive" teacher training colleges after a long period of "depreciation" due to the heat of "hot" and trendy professions.

That is the policy of free tuition and living expenses support for education students, the policy of ordering pedagogical jobs to ensure output after graduation, a series of policies to increase salaries and relieve pressure for teachers...

It is the changes from the decision that resonate with the love for the profession and children that is inherent in young people, and the gaze towards the profession of "knocking children's heads" that appears right at the threshold of 18 years old.

It's great that the admission scores for some pedagogical majors are gradually "reviving" and rising to be on par with many "hot" majors.

It is a joy that excellent and very excellent students choose to stay in the pedagogical university and grow with the dream of becoming "seed sowers". And it is also a joy that the catchphrase "rats running to the same nest will enter pedagogical university" is no longer haunting every admission season.

For many years, there has been a scene of everyone registering for the police, medicine, and polytechnics, while the education sector used to recruit students in a "grabbing-and-grabbing" manner. Public opinion was worried when the education sector "scraped" to the bottom to meet the quota...

Now, if you want to become a teacher, don't dream that just by studying mediocrely and having average abilities, you can easily get a "ticket"! If you want to become a teacher, don't have the illusion that if your children are just "a little bit gentle" and get a teaching degree, you'll be safe!

The great teacher who builds the nation - a great lesson that forever retains its value affirming the position and role of teachers in the task of training and nurturing the young generation, contributing to building a strong country.

If we want a strong country, we must make education the top national policy with specific preferential policies and the morality of respecting teachers must be preserved to create a solid foundation for the nation.

Teaching is a profession of "cultivating people". Standing on the podium to impart knowledge and nurture the souls of generations of students is a great honor but also very difficult.

A teacher not only needs the knowledge of a scientist who understands deeply and widely, always cultivating the ability to self-study and self-train to become a shining example for children, but also needs the heart of a mother, tolerant and forgiving enough, always patient in correcting the unstable and distorted expressions in the perception, attitude and behavior of children who are "not yet full, not yet worried"...

In an education system that is changing day by day due to the strong impact of technology and artificial intelligence (AI), learning in the AI ​​era must certainly change, but it is certain that no technology can replace the loving heart and enthusiasm of teachers to guide the young generation into good things and good deeds.

Whether learning declines or progresses day by day, whether discipline is stagnant or has commendable changes, whether the student's career orientation is appropriate or off track..., all need a teacher to be there to hone and cultivate the student's intelligence, personality, dreams and aspirations.
