Specifically, the price of fresh, dried, and processed vegetables increased by 3% due to increased consumer demand during the month, while some vegetables and fruits were at the end of their season, and rainy, stormy, and flood-affected weather in many localities impacted supply.

In addition, many types of fresh and processed fruits have also increased in price since last month, including many popular fruits such as bananas and mangoes. Spices, confectionery, tea, and coffee also increased in price in October, and significantly compared to the beginning of this year.
Rising food prices are also putting pressure on household spending. Despite recent salary increases, residents report that the rising prices of essential goods and services are still forcing them to carefully budget their expenses.
