According to Engadget , during a recent company-wide meeting , Meta 's Chief Product Officer Chris Cox presented a set of user interface models to attendees, which were quickly leaked online.

The existence of Project 92 It was first officially confirmed in March when the company told reporters , " We are exploring an independent, decentralized social network for sharing text updates." We believe there is an opportunity for a dedicated space where creators and public figures can share timely updates on their interests."
Now, internally shared design images of Project 92 have also leaked online. The new platform, which Cox calls " our response to Twitter," will be a standalone program, based on Instagram and integrating ActivityPub – the same network protocol that powers Mastodon .
The leaked images include screenshots of a secure login screen, a main feed that looks like Twitter's existing mobile app, and a reply screen.
"We've received feedback from creators and public figures who are concerned about needing a healthy , trustworthy platform to distribute their content ," Cox said in his statement. Currently, sources indicate that several celebrities have reportedly joined Meta's project.
