MHT green transformation from efficient energy use, no waste

Green transformation at Masan High-Tech Materials (MHT) begins with a change in management mindset, efficient use of energy resources, no waste, and recycling for return to production.

Speaking at a seminar themed "Pioneering Double Transformation for a Greener Vietnam," organized by the Investment Newspaper on November 12th, Mr. Craig Richard Bradshaw, General Director of Masan High-Tech Materials, stated that the technology his company has invested in over the past 14 years is actively contributing to the green transformation. While the world has many major players in the battery manufacturing industry, Masan High-Tech Materials focuses on producing batteries with longer lifespans, greater durability, and faster charging speeds. This is precisely the energy source widely used in the green transformation.

Masan High-Tech Materials is implementing a "better green transformation" in the mining industry by recycling waste back into production, avoiding waste; sorting waste and recycling it into new product lines, with a recycling rate of over 30% of the total waste generated. In 2023, 7.8 million m³ of wastewater was recycled and reused for production, accounting for 76.1% of the total water used at the enterprise; the waste recycling rate at the factory reached over 80%...
