Bringing search results directly from Bing to ChatGPT is one of the key changes. Now, OpenAI's chatbot can retrieve results from Bing Search to provide to paying customers.

The software giant is also expanding a plug-in that uses OpenAI compatibility standards to help businesses more easily connect with consumers directly on its search engine.
The updates to the Bing advertising engine are part of an effort to capture the global advertising market, estimated at $286 billion, which is dominated by giant Google.
Since Google hasn't widely rolled out the upgrades, it's still unclear which updated search engine users "prefer." However, the Bard chatbot, which is directly competing with ChatGPT, already has some built-in answers based on Google Search results.
Additionally, the new cloud service features include allowing companies to build add-ons that connect with Microsoft 365 Co-pilot (an AI assistant for businesses).
In addition, Microsoft's AI assistant will also be released to some Windows users as a preview version starting this June.
