The information was confirmed by a media representative of Deo Ca Group on October 8th, who stated that it has been implemented since today. Currently, the group has 21 toll stations for road usage services nationwide.
A representative from Deo Ca Group added that this action was in response to the request from the Vietnam Road Administration to waive road usage fees for vehicles transporting relief supplies to people in flood-affected areas, which was issued on the same day.
The Vietnam Road Administration requests that units coordinate with the regional road management areas and relevant local agencies to organize lane allocation, traffic flow management, and traffic guidance to ensure that the aforementioned vehicles pass through the toll station as quickly as possible.
All instances of suspending or waiving tolls for the aforementioned vehicles must be documented and recorded in full, proper accordance with regulations.
