Minh Hang and Toc Tien have 'double the visuals' but it's quite a shame.

Two "beautiful ladies," Minh Hang and Toc Tien, livened up the March 8th celebration with DTAP's "The Rose Who Cultivated It."

The roses that are cultivated carry the spirit of "women support women": In addition to loving themselves, women should also love and be a support for each other.

On her personal page, Minh Hang wrote that this song is "dedicated to all the roses that are cultivating their own identity and journey."

DTAP says "The Rose Who Cultivates It " "opens up a world that is both dreamy and proud, where emotions are nurtured by the hands of roses full of character."

The song contains gentle reproaches and also reflects the journey of a woman who refuses to compromise with a mediocre, withered, and fading life in darkness and silence.

Embracing the feminist spirit of "women support women," Minh Hang stated that the music video is a gift she wants to send to all women on the upcoming International Women's Day, March 8th.

The artist shared that not everyone will find complete happiness. The song is not dedicated to her, Toc Tien, or any one individual, but rather to all women.

"Life is certainly not always smooth sailing, but after all the ups and downs, everyone should stand up, move forward, and shine in their own way. And women are not alone, because there are many people out there who support and empathize with you," Minh Hang said.

MV Who Cultivates the Roses?

It's quite a shame for the roses that someone cultivated.

"Hoa hồng ai vun trồng" (Who Cultivates the Rose ?) , with music by DTAP, features a catchy pop melody. The lyrics are subtle, layered, and profound.

Minh Hang has a rather delicate, youthful, feminine, and sweet voice, but it's not very technically powerful; it tends to be a bit weak and breathless when hitting high notes.

DTAP wrote a song tailor-made for her, gentle and moderate, even fitting. However, because of this, the song lacks climactic moments that would make a strong impression, and it feels rather bland after listening to it.

Of course, to be fair, Minh Hang did have a rather impressive rap verse: "You're too busy being a heartless adult, so you've forgotten about the rose all this time/ This flower isn't watered, isn't cared for, so it's withered, even more withered like a cactus…". But that's still not enough, as the song's message is strongly feminist and powerful.

The second regrettable thing is that the production team didn't fully utilize Toc Tien. Compared to Minh Hang, Toc Tien possesses a rather diverse and flexible voice, rich, sharp, and clear, close to a blend of high-pitched and natural tones, but in Minh Hang's music video, Toc Tien mainly played a supporting and guest role.

However, the two beautiful women combine to create a "double visual" effect, enchanting and alluring. The backing vocals are also interesting. These are the highlights of this music video.
