Midfielder Tran Minh Vuong expressed his gratitude to Chairman Duc and the HAGL fans for their unwavering support throughout his nearly 18 years with the team from the mountainous region.

“I would like to express my most sincere gratitude to Mr. Duc. He is the one who gave me the opportunity to serve the team until today. I would also like to thank the HAGL fans who have always been with me throughout my youth. Although I didn't achieve much success during that time, I hope that the young HAGL players will achieve many successes and titles for the club,” Minh Vuong shared on his personal page on the morning of June 21st.

Minh Vương will part ways with HAGL after the 2024/25 season concludes. The match against Quang Nam at Pleiku Stadium on the afternoon of June 21st will be the last game for the player from Thai Binh province with HAGL after 18 years of dedication. He expressed his deep gratitude to Chairman Doan Nguyen Duc and the fans of the team from the mountainous region. Although he had prepared himself mentally, Minh Vương still couldn't hide his indescribable emotions.

"I was actually prepared, but my feelings right now are hard to describe. Today, after nearly 18 years with HAGL, I've decided to leave. As I've shared many times, I've decided to leave to prepare for the future and gain experience in football," he shared.

Minh Vương affirmed that his departure was not for the sake of seeking titles: "My departure is not for the sake of winning titles or achieving any success. Because I know for sure that no title or success can compare to the happiness and pride of playing for HAGL for all these years."

The captain of the mountain town team cherishes the feelings he has had during nearly two decades of association with HAGL. “I’m not sure if HAGL is my second home. But I’m certain of one thing: from the day I joined HAGL until now, I have received help from the uncles, coaches, and senior members of the club. I have grown into who I am today thanks to HAGL. At HAGL, I feel very peaceful,” he concluded.

Minh Vương's next destination is likely Bình Phước , an ambitious team in the South. Besides the striker from Thái Bình, HAGL will also part ways with Dụng Quang Nho, Trần Bảo Toàn, and Châu Ngọc Quang.
