According to Mr. Le Duc Thuan, Head of the Education and Training Department of Ba Dinh District, as of September 20th, 11 out of 49 public schools in Ba Dinh District had organized dialogue conferences between the head of the Party Committee, the principal, the director of the district's vocational education and continuing education center, and teachers, staff, parents, and students.

Nguyen Trai Secondary School held a dialogue session on the topic of ensuring school safety.

According to the plan, by October 6th, 100% of schools will have completed organizing the dialogue conference.

The dialogue aims to create conditions for teachers, staff, parents, and students in the school to propose good initiatives; suggest existing difficulties and obstacles; and provide feedback on the implementation of the legitimate rights and interests of teachers, staff, parents, and students in the school...

Parents openly asked questions and raised concerns and doubts.

According to Mr. Le Duc Thuan, in the 2023-2024 school year, the Ba Dinh District Department of Education and Training instructed schools to pay more attention to prominent issues of public concern such as: school safety and security, prevention of abuse and school violence; building smart schools and happy schools; promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation in education;

Strengthening infrastructure, building national standard schools; solutions to improve the ethical quality of teachers, the quality of life of cadres, teachers, and staff; training and professional development of teachers and students; implementing democratic regulations and transparency in internal spending regulations...

The dialogue session also provided an opportunity for students to share their wishes or raise their questions with school leaders.

The leaders of the Ba Dinh District Department of Education and Training assessed that the conferences were highly appreciated by teachers, parents, and students; the contributions and suggestions from participants were addressed quite specifically and convincingly.

Mr. Le Duc Thuan also shared that, for many years, dialogue in the education sector of Ba Dinh District has always been highly valued and focused on practical implementation. In particular, it has had a significant impact and widespread influence, becoming an annual activity in schools throughout the district.

In the 2023-2024 school year, schools in the district will continue to further improve the quality and quantity of regular and ad hoc dialogues, proactively developing dialogue content, anticipating situations to ensure democracy, openness, transparency, and focus on key issues.
