At the meeting, ACV representatives proposed many strategic cooperation programs such as: Completing the traffic infrastructure near the airport; promoting the expansion of international routes from Hue to China (Chengdu), Korea (Incheon), Japan, etc.; enhancing the promotion of Hue destinations at international events such as Routes World, ITB Berlin, ITE Ho Chi Minh City, etc.; promoting communications through aviation digital platforms such as Routes 360; supporting localities in promoting on the system of sister airports. ACV also committed to preferential policies for airlines operating new international routes in Hue such as: Up to 50% reduction in ground service fees in the first 2 years, maximum marketing support of 200 million VND/route.

Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh thanked ACV for proposing practical cooperation directions that are in line with the local development needs. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh acknowledged that although Terminal T2 has been completed and created favorable conditions for exploitation, the number of flights, especially international flights, has not yet met expectations. The city aims to soon have the first international flight, and to expand more domestic routes, creating momentum for economic and tourism development.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh also suggested that ACV closely coordinate with Hue to specify support policies, promotion programs, and investment promotion in line with the orientation of becoming a regional and international cultural, tourism, and specialized medical center. Increase the frequency and new flight routes, open more domestic and international routes to attract passengers. Support airport infrastructure, improve service quality, expand utilities, and improve passenger experience. At the same time, he affirmed that the city will accompany ACV in completing connecting infrastructure, issuing policies to support new flight routes, and promoting communication about Hue destinations on domestic and international channels, creating the most favorable conditions for airlines to operate sustainably.
