In order to contribute to the growth of the tourism and service sectors, diversify experiences, create new tourism products, extend the length of stay, and increase tourists' spending, Quang Ninh province has just directed relevant departments, branches, and localities to announce 8 sightseeing and tourism itineraries on Ha Long Bay, 10 itineraries on Bai Tu Long Bay, and 3 itineraries connecting Ha Long Bay - Bai Tu Long Bay.
In particular, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2119/QD-UBND announcing 10 tours to Bai Tu Long Bay, including: Tour 1: Ao Tien Port - Tay Hoi Island - Lucky Cat Islet (Lazy Cat Islet) - Ban Sen Island - Nha Tro Cave. Tour 2: Ao Tien Port - Phat Co Cave - Pearl Farming Area (Black Stone Islet) - Lao Vong Canal - Dua Islet (Du Islet) - Minh Chau Island. Tour 3: Ao Tien Port - Hon Xep Park. Tour 4: Ao Tien Port - Lao Vong Canal Fishing Village - Tra Ngo Lon Island - Thien Nga Islet. Tour 5: Ao Tien Port - Cai De Area - Mang Ha Overnight Anchorage Point. Tour 6: Ao Tien Port - Tra Than Lagoon (Large Tra Ngo Island) - Cai Lim Beach - Mang Ha Overnight Anchorage Point - Cai De Area. Itinerary 7: Port, wharf (Cam Pha) - Luong Ngoc beach - Vung Duc - Ong Cu island - Reu island - Cua Ong. Itinerary 8: Port, wharf (Cam Pha) - Luong Ngoc beach - Vung Duc - Ong Cu island - Reu island - Cua Ong - Tay Hoi island - Ban Sen. Itinerary 9: Port, wharf (Cam Pha) - Cua Ong - Reu island - Ong Cu island - Vung Duc - Luong Ngoc beach - Ngoc Vung island - Thang Loi island - Quan Lan island - Minh Chau island. Itinerary 10: Port, wharf (Cam Pha) - Vung Duc - Hon Xep park.
Along with that are 3 connecting itineraries of Ha Long Bay - Bai Tu Long Bay, including: Itinerary 1: Sightseeing spots on route 4 of Ha Long Bay (Port - Co cave (Thien Canh Son) - Thay cave - Cap La cave - Vong Vieng - Tung Ang eco-tourism area - Cong Do island - Hon Xep park) - Van Don (Thang Loi island - Ngoc Vung island - Quan Lan island - Minh Chau island). Itinerary 2: Sightseeing spots on route 4 of Ha Long Bay - Van Don (Ban Sen island - Nha Tro cave). Itinerary 3: Sightseeing spots on route 4 of Ha Long Bay - Cam Pha (Hon Dua - Vung Duc - Ong Cu island - Reu island - Cua Ong).
After a period of careful, thorough and urgent preparation, the tourist route on Bai Tu Long Bay has now met all the necessary conditions to officially open in mid-March 2025, opening unique tourist routes, meeting a variety of tourist flows, especially high-quality tourists. Tourism businesses also build tourism programs to Bai Tu Long Bay and connect Bai Tu Long Bay with Ha Long Bay. In particular, relevant departments and branches proactively develop plans to welcome guests, propose investments in adequate infrastructure of waterways, wharves, mooring buoys, signs, overnight accommodation, ports; develop investment plans for suitable types of ships, improve the quality of the fleet; promote propaganda, advertising, promotion, attract tourists and perfect new unique tourism products.
In 2025, Quang Ninh province aims to welcome 20 million visitors, with total revenue from tourism expected to reach 50,000 billion VND. To achieve this goal, developing many new tourism products, including opening more tours to Bai Tu Long Bay, connecting Ha Long Bay - Bai Tu Long Bay is the right direction, expected by tourists.
