To enhance experiences and attract more tourists, particularly international visitors, Quang Ninh province has developed itineraries for exploring Bai Tu Long Bay, while also strengthening promotion efforts to effectively exploit the potential of this beautiful bay.

In order to contribute to the growth of the tourism and service sector, diversify experiences, create new tourism products, extend the length of stay, and increase tourist spending, Quang Ninh province has directed relevant departments, agencies, and localities to announce 8 sightseeing and tourism itineraries on Ha Long Bay, 10 itineraries on Bai Tu Long Bay, and 3 itineraries connecting Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay.

Specifically, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2119/QD-UBND announcing 10 sightseeing routes for Bai Tu Long Bay, including: Route 1: Ao Tien Port - Tay Hoi Island - Lucky Cat Island (Lazy Cat Island) - Ban Sen Island - Nha Tro Cave. Route 2: Ao Tien Port - Phat Co Cave - Pearl farming area (Black Stone Island) - Lao Vong Canal - Dua Island (Du Island) - Minh Chau Island. Route 3: Ao Tien Port - Hon Xep Park. Route 4: Ao Tien Port - Lao Vong Canal fishing village - Tra Ngo Lon Island - Thien Nga Island. Route 5: Ao Tien Port - Cai De area - Mang Ha overnight anchorage point. Route 6: Ao Tien Port - Tra Than Bay (Tra Ngo Lon Island) - Cai Lim beach - Mang Ha overnight anchorage point - Cai De area. Route 7: Port/pier (Cam Pha) - Luong Ngoc beach - Vung Duc - Ong Cu Island - Reu Island - Cua Ong. Itinerary 2: Attractions on Route 4 in Ha Long Bay - Van Don (Ban Sen Island - Nha Tro Cave). Itinerary 3: Attractions on Route 4 in Ha Long Bay - Cam Pha (Hon Dua Island - Vung Duc - Ong Cu Island - Reu Island - Cua Ong).

After a period of thorough, meticulous, and urgent preparation, the tourist route on Bai Tu Long Bay now has all the necessary conditions to officially open in mid-March 2025, opening up unique tourist routes to meet the diverse needs of various tourist groups, especially high-quality tourists. Tourism businesses have also developed tourism programs to Bai Tu Long Bay and connecting Bai Tu Long Bay with Ha Long Bay. In particular, relevant departments and agencies have proactively developed plans to welcome tourists, proposed investments in equipping sufficient waterway infrastructure, wharves, mooring buoys, signage, overnight stops, and ports; developed plans to invest in suitable vessel types and improve the quality of the fleet; and intensified propaganda, promotion, and attraction efforts to attract tourists and perfect new and unique tourism products.

In 2025, Quang Ninh province aims to welcome 20 million tourists, with total tourism revenue expected to reach 50,000 billion VND. To achieve this goal, developing many new tourism products, including opening a new tour route connecting Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay, is the right direction and is eagerly awaited by tourists.
