Following the success of the "Legends of Youth" program, the Vietnam Women's Museum continues to launch the historical education experience program "A Time of Fiery Flowers." Connecting with the permanent exhibition system, the program offers a new experience for students through dramatization to tell the stories of female guerrillas, doctors, volunteer youth, and female drivers of the Truong Son Mountains – ordinary women in everyday life but incredibly resilient during the war.

Speaking at the program launch, Mr. Ngo Duy Ung, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Women's Museum, shared: “ To achieve the peace we have today, we understand even more deeply the value of independence and freedom – things that have been exchanged for so much sweat, blood, and tears of an entire nation, including mothers, sisters, female soldiers – Vietnamese women who have lived, loved, fought, and sacrificed silently and extraordinarily… ”.
Over the course of 60 minutes, the program guided viewers and students back in time, reliving moments of history through scenes and performances such as: The Lullaby of the Homeland; Sister Vo Thi Sau; Mother and Child; The Girl Who Opened the Way; Confessions; Dong Loc Crossroads; Doctor Dang Thuy Tram… with the aim of helping students better understand a period of history full of hardship and heroism, while deeply appreciating the resilience, patriotism, and immense contributions of Vietnamese women in the struggle for national independence.

Deeply moved, proud, and filled with love for her country and respect for the great sacrifices of previous generations, Nguyen Ha An, a 5th-grade student at Quang Trung Primary School in Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi , expressed her feelings. She said: “This is the first time I’ve participated in a history-based experiential program, and I’m very impressed and emotional. I feel moved and proud. I really like the image of Doctor Dang Thuy Tram and hope to become a doctor in the future to treat patients.”

Ms. Duong Mai Anh, a teacher at Quang Trung Primary School, shared after watching the program: “Although I have taught history for many years, watching this program still moved me deeply. The history lessons were conveyed very skillfully and appropriately for the students' age group. This is a profound and meaningful history education program for both students and adults, and it should be widely disseminated.”

“A Time of Fiery Flowers” is a special gift that the Vietnam Women's Museum wishes to give to students, bringing them vivid and inspiring history lessons. The experiential history education activity “A Time of Fiery Flowers” will accompany schools and students on weekdays, starting in May 2025.
