Since the beginning of June, localities have simultaneously launched activities in response to the Month of Action for Children 2025 with many creative and flexible forms, suitable for each age group. In particular, many schools have implemented summer programs that combine learning and playing, helping students to review lightly while developing skills and creativity.
These are life skills classes, chess, STEM education , learning English through artificial intelligence (AI) applications... with content that is scientifically constructed, vivid, concise and suitable for each age, creating interest for children.

Nguyen Thu Hoai An, a 5th grader at Hermann Gmeiner High School (Tan Thanh Ward), shared: “I attend the school’s English and chess classes. Every day at school during the summer is fun because I get to meet friends, learn new things without the pressure of the school year.”
Along with studying, summer sports activities have been enthusiastically organized by localities such as swimming classes, soccer, martial arts... not only to improve physical strength but also to create a healthy environment to help children stay away from video games or social evils.
For example, at Binh An football field in Hoa Thanh ward, every Saturday and Sunday morning, dozens of students from Nguyen Tao Primary School are divided into groups to participate in basic football classes. The coaches instruct the students in warm-up skills, dribbling, passing, and playing against each other, helping them develop their physical fitness and team spirit.

Meanwhile, swimming classes in localities have also received great attention from parents. This is considered a practical solution to equip children with skills to prevent drowning - a worrying issue every summer. Mr. Tran Thanh Su (An Xuyen ward) said: "I feel very secure when letting my two grandchildren learn to swim. In addition to improving their health, they also learn how to handle dangerous situations in the water."
Not only focusing on urban areas, many summer programs have been organized for children in remote areas. This past summer, the Youth Union of Ca Mau Newspaper, Radio and Television in collaboration with the Youth Union of the Provincial Youth Union organized summer activities at Gia Long Den estuary (Tan Tien commune). The children were extremely excited to participate in folk games, cultural exchanges, group activities... With the support of Vietravel Ca Mau Branch, the program also gave many gifts (backpacks, school supplies) and many scholarships to students with good achievements in the 2024-2025 school year.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Hang, representative of Vietravel Ca Mau, shared: “We wish to bring a warm and meaningful summer to children in remote areas. Each gift is a spiritual encouragement to help them study harder.”
It can be seen that summer activities for children in Ca Mau are increasingly organized systematically, creatively and educationally. With the synchronous participation of sectors, levels, organizations and the whole society, children in Ca Mau province have enjoyed a truly meaningful, rewarding and safe summer in 2025.
