In 2025, summer volunteer activities in Laos will take place from June 10 to 28, with volunteers including union members, youth, students, civil servants, young doctors, etc.

The activities were implemented with many new features, demonstrating the development in scale, depth and high specialization. In addition to continuing to maintain activities in two traditional localities, Champasak and Attapeu provinces, this year, the campaign expanded its scope to two new provinces, Sekong and Salavan.

Key volunteer activities include: traditional education, cultural exchange; education - training, career guidance; healthcare, community health care; agriculture , civilized urban construction, social security and activities to enhance friendly cooperation.

Some of the outstanding activities include: Donating 5 Vietnam - Laos youth friendship houses, giving more than 800 social security gifts, organizing medical examinations and giving medicine to 5,000 people, donating medical equipment, organizing Vietnamese language teaching, donating teaching equipment, painting classrooms, organizing 11 children's playgrounds, 2 indoor playgrounds...

In addition to continuing to train agriculture and livestock as in previous years, 2025 marks a breakthrough in thematic content when the campaign expands to new areas such as: Training in tourism exploitation, sewing, information technology combined with artificial intelligence applications, and pedagogical training for teachers in Laos. The total resources to implement the campaign are nearly 3 billion VND.
