(PLVN) - The landslide not only blocked the road but also damaged many components of the Lao Cai - Sa Pa BOT toll station.

Due to heavy rain lasting from the night of June 30th to the morning of July 1st, landslides occurred on Provincial Road 155 ( Lao Cai - Sa Pa), causing soil and rocks to spill onto National Highway 4D, near the Lao Cai - Sa Pa BOT toll station, disrupting traffic and damaging many components of the Lao Cai - Sa Pa BOT toll station.

The landslide has cut off traffic.

The landslide has completely cut off traffic on the road from Coc San commune to the Sa Pa tourist area.

Immediately after the landslide occurred, authorities deployed three excavators and personnel to address the situation.

Due to the large volume of soil and rocks at the landslide site, and the ongoing rain, remediation efforts are facing difficulties. It is estimated that the first phase of clearing the road will only be possible around 11:30 AM today.
