Due to heavy rain lasting from the night of June 30 to the morning of July 1, landslides appeared on Provincial Road 155 ( Lao Cai - Sa Pa), causing soil and rocks to flow down to National Highway 4D, the area of ​​Lao Cai - Sa Pa BOT Toll Station, cutting off traffic and damaging many items of Lao Cai - Sa Pa BOT Toll Station.

Landslide causes traffic disruption

The landslide completely cut off traffic on the road from Coc San commune to Sa Pa tourist area.

Immediately after the landslide appeared, authorities deployed 3 excavators and human resources to fix it.

Due to the large volume of soil and rocks at the landslide site, and the ongoing rain, the repair work is difficult. It is expected that the first phase of the road will be cleared by 11:30 today.
