Specifically, the highest temperatures recorded were 42.2 degrees Celsius in Tay Hieu ( Nghe An province ), 42.1 degrees Celsius in Con Cuong; 41.7 degrees Celsius in Quy Hop, 41.5 degrees Celsius in Quy Chau, 41.4 degrees Celsius in Do Luong, 40.8 degrees Celsius in Vinh, and 40.2 degrees Celsius in Quynh Luu.

In Thanh Hoa province, many areas also experienced very high temperatures, including Nhu Xuan (41.7°C), Tinh Gia (41.5°C), and Thanh Hoa (40.3°C)... Temperatures of 40°C and above were also recorded in localities such as Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, and Da Nang City.
Signs of a record-breaking heatwave were recorded at 1 PM today when several weather stations recorded temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius, such as Tinh Gia (Thanh Hoa) and Tay Hieu (Nghe An) at 40.5 degrees Celsius. In addition, several stations in Nghe An recorded very high temperatures, including Do Luong at 40 degrees Celsius, and Con Cuong and Quy Hop both at 40.2 degrees Celsius.

Today, intense and exceptionally severe heat will occur over a wide area in the midland and lowland regions of Northern Vietnam; from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang and the eastern parts of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak.
Forecasts for June 26-27 indicate continued intense and exceptionally intense heat in the area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang and the eastern parts of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak. Maximum temperatures will generally range from 36-39 degrees Celsius, with some areas exceeding 39 degrees Celsius; minimum relative humidity will generally be between 45-50%.
