National Australia Bank opens new office in Hanoi.

This is NAB's second technology center in Vietnam, reaffirming the bank's long-term commitment to innovation, technology, and talent development, aiming to provide the best digital experience for its customers.

Established in 2019, NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam, with two offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, has witnessed impressive staff growth, doubling its workforce in the past two years. The new 2,500 m2 office in The Capital Place building houses software development engineers, digital designers, data scientists , data analysts, and more. The workspace at NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam is inspired by NAB's most modern and well-equipped offices in Melbourne and Sydney (Australia), aiming to foster innovation, collaboration, and team building.

The delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the facility.

Ms. Tran Minh Hanh, General Director of NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam, shared: "The demand for outstanding technology experts is constantly increasing worldwide , and talented individuals are always seeking a suitable work environment. That's why NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam's offices are not just workplaces but also foster innovation, nurture a collaborative spirit, and place customers at the center of our daily work."

Drawing inspiration from the iconic "Sacred Dragon of Thang Long," NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam's new workspace in Hanoi showcases a unique blend of traditional culture and contemporary world architecture. A highlight is the exquisite mural composed of 100,000 multicolored ceramic pieces created by Vietnamese artisans. Small green spaces and striking decorative touches further enhance the modern office environment.

The Australian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam, Ms. Gillian Bird, highly appreciated NAB's presence and investment effectiveness in the region: “Australia is actively promoting investment between the two countries, while contributing to Vietnam's vision of developing an economy based on innovation, science and technology. NAB's strong growth momentum in Vietnam demonstrates the strong bilateral economic relationship, within the framework of the Vietnam-Australia Enhanced Economic Cooperation Strategy.”

In line with the continuous transformation of technology, employees at NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam continuously participate in global training programs with NAB's Tech Academy, gaining knowledge in cloud computing, software development, GenAI, and more. NAB Vietnam is committed to fostering a diverse and gender-balanced work environment, with women holding 50% of senior leadership positions and 31% of the total workforce—double the industry average.
