From 7 a.m., Ms. Luong Thi Xuan, a civil servant at the Dong Kinh Ward Public Administrative Service Center, was already at the office. On the first day of work in the new year, she wore a traditional ao dai (Vietnamese long dress) with a cheerful and enthusiastic spirit, ready for a new year filled with new hopes and beliefs. Sharing her thoughts in the first few minutes of the day, Ms. Xuan said that choosing to wear an ao dai on the first day of spring was both a way to preserve traditional beauty and to show respect for her work. “Everyone is excited on the first day of the year, but once you’re at the office, you have to get straight to work to ensure things aren’t delayed,” she said, then quickly returned to her desk, opened her computer, and began processing online applications from citizens.
According to statistics, on the first working day after the Lunar New Year holiday, the province's administrative procedure processing information system received 490 administrative procedure dossiers, 100% of which were received online; 428 dossiers were processed, of which 393 were processed on time or ahead of schedule, achieving a rate of 91.82%. |
Like Ms. Xuan, from early morning, officials and employees of the Public Administrative Service Center and other agencies and units of Dong Kinh ward were all present, neatly dressed and behaving seriously. Brief and warm New Year's greetings were exchanged, after which each person quickly returned to their workstations, getting back to work with a proactive and responsible spirit.
Similarly, in Quoc Khanh commune, one of the province's border communes, the atmosphere on the first working day after the Tet holiday was serious and urgent. Mr. Hoang Anh Dung, Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, said: "Before the Tet holiday, we held a meeting and instructed 100% of officials and civil servants to strictly adhere to administrative discipline and order. Upon the end of the holiday, they were required to be present on time and immediately begin work. On the first working day after the Tet holiday, all officials and civil servants of the commune were present. Some colleagues who live quite far from the office still arrived on time and immediately got to work. We also directed agencies and units to regularly check and remind staff to maintain order and work style, and to enhance the sense of responsibility in performing their duties."

Like other wards, the provincial departments and agencies entered the new year in a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, while maintaining a serious and responsible spirit in performing their duties. Ms. Sam Thi Thanh Hieu, a specialist in the Organization, Personnel and Administrative Reform Department of the Department of Internal Affairs, said: "Following the instructions of the agency's leaders and department leaders, I arrived early at the office to begin the first working day of the new year. After a brief New Year's greeting, we quickly got down to work. Each official proactively reviewed their assigned plans, files, and tasks, ensuring that work was carried out smoothly from the first day, without interruption after the Tet holiday."

Observations at many agencies and units show that, from early morning on the first working day of the year, officials and employees were present in full attendance, neatly dressed, and with a serious demeanor, ready to immediately begin carrying out their assigned tasks. In particular, the work of receiving and processing administrative documents and procedures for citizens continued to be given attention and implemented promptly, ensuring smooth and effective operation.
Arriving at the Provincial Public Administrative Service Center at 7:45 AM to complete insurance-related procedures, Ms. Loc Huong Quynh, from Block 11, Ky Lua Ward, expressed great satisfaction with the serious and responsible attitude of the officials and civil servants from various departments and agencies. Ms. Quynh shared: "Even though it was the first working day after Tet, the staff provided very thorough guidance, and there were no delays. I feel more reassured and confident in the quality of service provided by the administrative agencies."

Beginning the new year in a joyful yet serious atmosphere, all officials, civil servants, and workers in the province are working together wholeheartedly to achieve socio-economic development goals, administrative reform, and digital transformation. The spirit of "enjoying the spring without forgetting our duties" is spreading strongly, creating momentum for the province to confidently embark on a new path, contributing to the nation's entry into a new era of development and strong national progress.
