According to the RIA news agency, the court fined Reddit 2 million rubles (equivalent to $20,365).

Also on Tuesday, a court fined Wikimedia Foundation, the company that owns Wikipedia, 2 million rubles for failing to remove "false information" about Russia's "special military operation" in Ukraine.

Wikimedia has previously stated that its information is clearly sourced and conforms to Wikipedia's standards. Russia has said it does not intend to block Wikipedia, but has repeatedly fined the online encyclopedia.
