See the strange color of Morgan Plus Six of "Qua" Vu in the Central Highlands

Morgan is a long-standing British car brand that is now in the hands of the Chinese. This car company focuses on classic design, which helps vintage Morgan models always stand out in car shows, or simply go out for a walk with their owners.

But if it appeared in the Central Highlands mountains, where there are only birds singing, gibbons howling, and few people, would the car be able to show its charm? The answer would be if it appeared in the garage of Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu, who owns more than 750 cars of all kinds, of which Morgan alone could own nearly 10.

Set in a small racetrack built on an 800-hectare campus in the Central Highlands, the uniform of this Morgan Plus Six with its two colors of white and orange stands out in the space of the mountains and forests, as does the model wearing black and white.

Interestingly, this white-orange Morgan Plus Six has white painted rims, instead of black like the car in the photo at "Qua" Vu's villa in Ho Chi Minh City, so it is not clear if it is a different car, or just the rims were repainted from black to white.

In recent years, "Qua" Vu has been more open in his car playing style with the public, from regularly driving on the road, sharing very interesting stories with car enthusiasts, to buying cars in batches, keeping the original paint color, no longer applying the main colors white, silver, blue...

In the Vietnamese market, the Morgan Plus Six has an official price of 8 billion VND. Buyers are usually individuals with personality, but there has never been a precedent in Vietnam or Asean where a customer bought up to 6 Morgan cars from the official showroom. Therefore, "Qua" Vu made a very strong impression in buying this car.

The Plus Six also shows that Morgan has been a little less conservative, as they have added a new aluminum platform alongside the ash, increasing torsional rigidity by 100 percent and reducing the weight of the car by 100 kg. The body of course still sits on the ash frame, but it is now significantly reinforced compared to the previous series.

Looking at the Morgan Plus Six and Morgan Plus 8, which have already been imported, it's hard to see a strong difference. It's still the same grille with curved, chrome-plated vertical bars, and the car sometimes has only 4 types of lights, sometimes 6 like the Plus 8.

This makes the Morgan Plus Six look quite dusty because these lights are all classic round, big and rough compared to the current brands that cram the positioning lights, LED strips or turn signals together. Looking from the side of the car, the Morgan Plus Six has a softer curve and deeper grooves, the air vents also appear behind the front wheels.

The rear is shaped like a square ash panel placed on top, showing no sloping, shaping or soft curves that a sports car should have. The brake lights and turn signals are also bare, which many fastidious people may think is too outdated for Morgan compared to the current century. The sportiness of the Morgan Plus Six comes from the large, round, protruding, and centrally placed exhaust pipes.

The car has a soft top in black, red or blue... depending on the configuration the customer chooses. Don't look for a button to open the top in the cockpit or on the key like other sports cars or supercars. The Morgan Plus Four's top "runs on rice", you will open and close the top yourself very easily.

It is not an exaggeration to say that the Plus Six is ​​the model representing the new generation of Morgan cars. The company decided to equip it with a 3.0-liter, turbocharged, inline 6-cylinder engine, producing a maximum capacity of up to 335 horsepower and a maximum torque of 500 Nm.

This engine has the code B58, which is equipped on the BMW Z4 convertible sports car or the new generation Toyota Supra that has appeared in Vietnam.

Notably, the Plus Six is ​​the first Morgan model to be equipped with a factory kit. The power of the Morgan Plus Six convertible sports car will be transmitted to the ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, thanks to which the younger brother of the Morgan Plus 8 can accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 267 km/h.
