According to some sources, Toyota Crown Sport 2024 will be officially launched in its home country in July this year.
The all-new Toyota Crown Sport will have a total of 4 versions: traditional sedan (silver), high-rise liftback "Crossover" (brown), sport SUV "Sport" (red) and large SUV "Estate". (Yellow).
Currently, only the Toyota Crown Crossover 2023 model is sold in 40 global markets. For the time being, this is also the only version that has been published. The remaining versions are expected to be "unveiled" in turn this year.
Currently, specifications of Toyota Crown Sport 2024 have not been announced by the company. However, according to the concept released last year, the car has a length x width x height of 4.710 x 1.880 x 1.560 mm and a wheelbase of 2.770 mm, respectively.
In addition to the prominent red paint, Toyota Crown Sport also has some exterior details reminiscent of Ferrari Purosangue such as "C"-shaped headlights, embracing the two front corners of the car. Located between the 2 headlights of Toyota Crown Sport is also a small air vent, similar to the Ferrari Purosangue.
Meanwhile, the remaining areas on the front of the car clearly show the difference with the Italian supercar. This sports SUV is equipped with a large central air cavity with a trellis mesh and 2 vertical triangular fake air vents.
At the rear of the car, Toyota Crown Sport owns a rear light cluster connected by a glossy black brace, located across the rear of the car. The shape inside the taillights reminds people of the Mercedes-Benz GLB and Toyota GR Supra. In addition, the car also has a braille stamp "Crown" on the trunk door, long vertical air vents at the two rear corners and the rear bumper is painted in glossy black.
In particular, Toyota Crown Sport also uses the crown-shaped logo typical of the Crown line on the top of the car. Meanwhile, at the back, the car uses a rather small Toyota logo.
In addition, some exterior details of the car such as: center vent border, rearview mirror cover, wheel rim, door brace, border around the rear windshield and rear bumper... are also painted black. Ball helps the car look more eye-catching and modern.
Toyota Crown Sport 2024 still has a fuel tank cap on the rear fender, so this model is expected to use a hybrid powertrain instead of running entirely on electricity. Meanwhile, the "brother" Toyota Crown Crossover 2023 launched last year is equipped with 2 types of hybrid engines.
The first is a hybrid powertrain, including a 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine with a capacity of 2.5L, combined with 2 electric motors similar to Toyota Camry. The electric motor on the front axle has a maximum capacity of 119,7 horsepower and maximum torque of 202 Nm. The corresponding two figures of the electric motor on the rear axle are 54,4 hp and 121 Nm.
The second is the Dual Boost Hybrid System hybrid powertrain with a 4L, turbocharged, 2.4-cylinder petrol engine, producing a maximum capacity of 272 horsepower and maximum torque of 460 Nm. In the FWD front-wheel drive version, the car will use a powerful electric motor of 82,9 hp and 292 Nm as well as a 6-speed automatic transmission. In the AWD all-wheel drive version, the car has an additional powerful eAxle electric motor of 4 hp and 79,7 Nm on the rear axle.
