FPT employees work more enthusiastically thanks to AI applications

Faced with the explosion of artificial intelligence (AI) and the Group's call for "AI for all", FPT employees, especially young people across the unit, quickly caught up with the trend, researched and applied it to work, turning AI into a "virtual colleague" when needing to consult information.

Diversified creative directions for individuals

Mr. Nguyen Duc Duy (FPT Online, FPT Corporation) is in charge of internal communication tasks from writing articles, communicating policy messages, designing images, posters, etc. He applies AI to all work to optimize efficiency.

“I use AI for design work (Canva, Adobe Photoshop) and content creation (ChatGPT). For design, we need to provide as much information as possible in the form of keywords, accurately describing the shape, color, and position of each part in the design. In addition, use the command a maximum of 3 times, if it does not return the desired result, change to another command. For content creation, describe your wishes very specifically, with commas between ideas, talk about the context, genre, rhyme, or synonyms... However, we only use it to refer to words, the rest requires our own creativity,” Duy shared.

Mr. Duy also said that many AI applications still charge fees, others have many functions so the interface is difficult to use, making him feel uncomfortable when learning about a new "AI Friend".

Talking about the benefits that AI applications bring, he commented: "These applications help reduce the time spent thinking and tinkering with products, opening up more creative directions for any product."

Personalize content on demand

Cao Dinh Trung - Student Affairs Officer of FPT Polytechnic Tay Nguyen (under FPT Education Organization, FPT Group) assessed that AI has helped promote and realize ideas in a snap through commands, increasing productivity and work processing time.

In charge of educational design and event communications, Trung often uses AI built into Adobe software to save his design time. “AI applications help save time in brainstorming, designing and creating content, supporting creativity by suggesting new concepts and unique illustrations. They also help automate some simple tasks such as photo editing, writing descriptive content, helping designers like me focus on more important parts of the design, supporting personalization of content for each student group quickly and effectively…”, Trung happily shared.

“We need to make specific and clear requests, including the context and desired style. If using AI to create images, describe in detail the color, layout, and style so that AI can create the most suitable results. If you are not satisfied with the first result, you can refine it by responding according to the elements you want,” Trung said.

Regularly researching and applying AI to work, Dinh Trung realized that some AI software creates images that are not accurate to detailed requirements (especially AI creating characters and complex layouts). Meanwhile, the content created by AI is still general, requiring human adjustment to ensure creativity and suitability for students.

Provide quick information

Working at the Culture, Integration and Employee Experience Department of FPT Software, Ngo Hoang Huu Loc often uses ChatGPT to support proposing organizational activities on experiences for company employees.

“When using the ChatGPT application, I will clearly identify the requirements for reference regarding the type and method of organizing activities, provide full information descriptions and place them in a specific context regarding time, location, scale and nature of activities,” Loc said. When receiving all the above information, Chat GPT will return optimal results according to the research needs.

Loc believes that applying AI helps him get a reliable and quick source of reference information, plus reviewing existing ideas and thanks to the application's suggestions, having more basis for comparison, choosing the most suitable type and method of organization. However, the AI application also gives quite general results, so users need to research and adjust accordingly. "In general, applying AI helps me work more effectively, the quality of work also increases, so I'm more excited," Loc expressed.
