The Binh Phuoc General Hospital Charity Kitchen was established in 2001, initially with only 50 volunteers. Under the leadership of Mr. Ho Van Nhat, the kitchen has grown, attracting more than 200 members. Every day, he and his members prepare nutritious meals, handing them directly to patients in difficult circumstances and their families. "I hope the kitchen will last a long time, with fire burning every day to help those in difficult circumstances," Mr. Nhat confided.
Ms. Tran Thi Thu, a patient being treated at the Provincial General Hospital, shared: “I have been receiving meals here for several days. I find the food very delicious, and the volunteers are enthusiastic in helping the patients. I am very grateful!”

With his silent contributions, Mr. Nhat has just been honored as one of the 50 outstanding citizens of the province, awarded many certificates of merit and attended the National Patriotic Emulation Congress 4 times. In 2006, he received a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister . But perhaps for him, the greatest reward is the smile and sincere thanks from those he has helped.
