BPO - At a rare old age, Mr. Ho Van Nhat (80 years old) still diligently works as a volunteer at the Charity Kitchen of Binh Phuoc Provincial General Hospital. For the past 24 years, he has been the "keeper of the flame" for this kitchen, bringing millions of warm meals to poor patients and their families. He is one of 50 outstanding citizens recently honored at the 50th anniversary of the province's liberation, a shining example of compassion and dedication, loved and respected by the people.

The charitable kitchen at Binh Phuoc Provincial General Hospital was established in 2001, initially with only 50 volunteers. Under the leadership of Mr. Ho Van Nhat, the kitchen has grown, attracting more than 200 members. Every day, he and the members prepare nutritious meals and deliver them directly to patients in difficult circumstances and their families. "I hope the kitchen will last a long time, with the fire burning every day to help those in need," Mr. Nhat shared.
Ms. Tran Thi Thu, a patient receiving treatment at the provincial general hospital, shared: “I have been receiving meals here for several days now. I find the food very delicious, and the volunteers are very enthusiastic in helping the patients. I am very grateful!”
