In life, it's quite interesting that the more insecure people are about their own worth, the more they want others to acknowledge them. They want to be understood, appreciated, and proven right in every situation.
Conversely, many truly intelligent and mature people don't devote excessive energy to such things. They understand that time is a limited resource, and that not every argument is worth participating in, not every misunderstanding needs explaining, and not everyone needs their value acknowledged.

Intelligent people don't try to make everyone understand or approve of them.

That doesn't mean they're indifferent to personal honor or reputation. They still speak up when necessary, still defend what's important. But they know how to choose which relationships are worth explaining to and which arguments only exhaust them.
Because they understand that genuine recognition doesn't come from lengthy explanations, but from what a person demonstrates over a sufficient period of time.
Prove it with results, not words.
One thing many successful people have in common is that they don't spend too much time talking about their abilities.
They don't need to constantly boast about their achievements, they don't try to impress by proving they know more than others, and they don't view winning every debate as a measure of their self-worth.
The reason is simple: they understand that words can make an impression for minutes, but only results build lasting trust.
A person can spend hours explaining how good they are, but that's still not as convincing as what they actually accomplish. A person can try to prove themselves right in every argument, but that doesn't mean their life will be any better.
Intelligent people tend to focus on self-improvement rather than worrying about what others think. When doubted, they choose to keep working. When underestimated, they choose to enhance their skills.
When recognition isn't immediate, they choose to be patient on their journey. They understand that reputation is built over time, and true value is always demonstrated through actions.
Ultimately, what intelligent people don't waste time proving is their own worth. They don't try to get everyone's approval because they know it's unnecessary.
Instead of spending their energy trying to convince the world , they focus on creating results that speak for themselves. And in many cases, that's the most convincing way to prove themselves.
