According to the Hai Phong Forest Protection Department, from April 10th to 17th, the weather in the city is forecast to continue to be intensely hot, with many days without rain or with very little rainfall, causing the moisture content of combustible materials to decrease.
Areas currently at level 4 (high risk) are at high risk of large-scale forest fires with rapid fire spread. Areas with pine forests, planted forests, forests with abundant dry undergrowth, forest edges, areas near residential areas, and agricultural land adjacent to forest borders are at high risk of fire.

Specifically, the risk of forest fires may occur in the following communes and wards: Tran Nhan Tong, Chu Van An, Le Dai Hanh, Chi Linh, Tran Hung Dao, Nguyen Trai, Bac An Phu, Nam An Phu, Tran Lieu, Pham Su Manh, Nhi Chieu, Kinh Mon, Viet Khe, Hoa Binh, Luu Kiem, Thuy Nguyen, Le Ich Moc, Bach Dang, Kien An, Phu Lien, Kien Thuy, Do Son, An Khanh, An Truong, An Lao, Cat Hai Special Zone…
To proactively prevent and minimize the number of forest fires and the damage caused by them, the Forest Protection Department requests that local police, military forces, forest rangers, and forest owners strengthen coordination in patrolling and inspecting forests from 3 PM to 7 PM daily in key fire-prone areas, especially in forest areas bordering historical sites, special-use forests, and protection forests.
Prepare contingency plans for mobilizing forces and resources to respond to forest fire incidents based on the "four on-the-spot" principle, and resolutely prevent large-scale fires from occurring.

Production and business activities in forests, such as clearing, burning, and processing undergrowth for reforestation or forest care, are strictly prohibited.
In particular, localities that organize festivals need to strengthen public awareness campaigns through loudspeaker systems about the risk of forest fires and preventive measures, while also inspecting and supplementing signs prohibiting open fires, burning votive paper, lighting incense, and burning vegetation in unauthorized areas in forests, forest edges, and roads leading to historical sites.
The Mobile Forest Ranger and Forest Fire Prevention and Fighting Team maintains a permanent staff, strengthens coordination with Forest Ranger Districts I, II, III, and IV to conduct patrols and protect forests, and is ready to carry out forest fire prevention and fighting tasks…
