• A comfortable home provides the foundation for a successful career.
  • Connecting through love, spreading the spirit of compassion.
  • Providing a safe and secure home for the family of Mr. Le Hoang Tam.

The story is told, love is spread.

In early June, the small house of Mrs. Lam Thi Yen, a poor Khmer woman in Cai Bat hamlet, Luong The Tran commune, became warmer thanks to the continuous visits from charitable groups and philanthropists. Few could remain unmoved when witnessing the plight of this woman, past working age, who still has to shoulder the burden of raising seven grandchildren. Her husband passed away, her daughter died, and her son-in-law abandoned her, leaving Mrs. Yen as the only support for her grandchildren.

Journalist Trinh Hong Nhi, a reporter for Ca Mau Newspaper, Radio and Television, investigated the circumstances of Ms. Danh Thi Quan (Hung My commune) to connect her with support for house construction.

Every day, she works odd jobs and collects scrap metal to earn every penny to provide for her family's meals. Life is a constant struggle to make ends meet, interrupting her grandchildren's education. Some children have had to drop out of school after completing only the second or third grade to stay home and help their grandmother care for the younger siblings.

This situation was recorded and reflected upon by reporters from Ca Mau Newspaper and radio and television in a work about families struggling with life after a series of misfortunes.
