A useful bridge between businesses and employees
According to Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Tay Nam, immediately after the city implemented the two-level local government, the Department of Home Affairs advised the City People's Committee to issue a plan on supporting and developing the labor market, creating jobs for workers in the last 6 months of 2025, ensuring compliance with the implementation of the two-level local government.
Organizing the Mobile Job Fair in Tien Thang commune has practical significance, is one of the solutions to promote the development of the labor market, support businesses and workers in the commune and neighboring areas. This is not only an opportunity to connect workers with businesses, production and business establishments, training facilities, but also a good opportunity for young workers to access the labor market, be provided with information on the labor market, thereby learning, equipping themselves with basic knowledge and skills, and the ability to adapt to fluctuations in the labor market when accessing the labor market.
Participating in the Tien Thang Commune Job Fair were 30 units and enterprises, mainly enterprises located in Me Linh district (old) and some neighboring districts such as Dong Anh (old), Soc Son (old), 2,180 recruitment, enrollment, and labor export targets, with a variety of positions, occupations, and attractive salaries. Of which: The demand for recruiting workers with college and university degrees or higher has 678 targets; intermediate level, technical workers 561 targets, laborers; unskilled workers 941 targets. Income levels range from 5 million VND to 15 million VND or more.
Notably, along with job transactions and direct interviews between businesses and employees, the Organizing Committee also implemented career counseling activities for high school students, providing advice and information on the labor market, labor export, vocational training, job search skills, labor market participation skills, and sharing information related to legal policies for employees.
According to Chairman of Tien Thang Commune People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hai, Tien Thang Commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of 3 communes: Tu Lap, Tien Thang, Tam Dong (Me Linh Commune). Currently, the problem of solving employment for workers still has difficulties, workers have difficulty finding jobs that suit their needs, employers need workers but still lack information, lack of high-tech workers, recruitment of vocational training institutions also faces many difficulties, directly affecting the work of solving labor and employment problems.
Therefore, organizing the Job Fair at the commune level is extremely important, is one of the effective solutions to ensure social security in the area, is the focal point to provide employees and employers with information on labor supply and demand so that they can choose and find jobs that suit their conditions and qualifications. The Job Fair also creates conditions for businesses with labor recruitment needs, job introduction centers, and vocational training schools to organize consulting, career guidance, recruitment, and enrollment activities.
Ms. Le Kim Anh, Director of the Northern Transportation and Logistics Center (Vietnam Post Transportation and Logistics Company) shared: “This is the first time we have participated in a job fair, aiming to find 30 postal workers to work in the area (income from 9 - 15 million VND/month) and 10 postal drivers (income from about 10 - 15 million VND/month). Many people are interested in the Center's booth for advice and support in finding jobs. That shows that the job fair is truly a useful bridge between businesses and workers.”
Maintain the effectiveness of the job fair
Learning about the 2025 Tien Thang Commune Job Fair through the Women's Union branch, Ms. Vu Thi Lan, 50 years old (Tien Thang Commune), and a number of members enthusiastically came with the desire to find seasonal jobs near home, suitable for their age, to have more income to take care of their family.
Nguyen Ngoc Anh, 19 years old (Tien Thang commune), said: "Coming here, I received enthusiastic advice from the staff and found that there are many jobs suitable for my age such as garment worker, office worker, accountant... I hope to find a job that suits me."
Witnessing the job fair, Mr. Nguyen Huy Moc, 71 years old (Tien Thang commune), shared: "I found this job fair to be very professionally organized and extremely meaningful, helping people in the commune to access and transact with businesses, increasing the opportunity to find a job that suits their abilities."
According to Deputy Director of Hanoi Employment Service Center Vu Quang Thanh, the activities at the Tien Thang Commune Job Fair 2025 took place in a lively atmosphere, with a large number of people from all walks of life attending. Through the survey work to grasp the recruitment needs as well as the needs of workers in the commune, the needs are mainly in the fields of industrial production, trade, services, etc. It is noteworthy that the job fair does not stop at just one day of the event, but after that, all recruitment needs of businesses continue to be communicated. Workers can proactively discuss with businesses to find the desired job positions.
