With the motto "4 on-site" in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, the mountainous localities of Tuyen Quang province have mobilized all forces to the areas heavily damaged by the flood to help people overcome the consequences.
Highlanders take to the streets to overcome flood consequences
In addition to the main forces mobilized such as: Police, army, militia, on the morning of October 4, people of Dao and Tay ethnic groups in the highland groups of Khuoi My, Lung Vai, Na Thac, Tan Tien in Ha Giang 1 ward came down to support the government and people of the residential groups to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

In residential areas, on the streets around March 26 Square, nearly 100 people were divided into groups to help families clean up their houses after the flood; at the same time, they used rudimentary tools to collect garbage and mud on the streets.
Mr. Ly Van Hieu, Deputy Head of Group 27 Khuoi My, Ha Giang 1 Ward, said that in the recent flood, the highland group 27 Khuoi My is located on the top of Tay Con Linh so it was not affected. Looking down from the high mountain, the center of Ha Giang 1 and 2 wards were submerged in water, the highland people know that the people in the residential groups suffered a lot of property damage.
Therefore, as soon as the water receded, households volunteered to support the Party Committee, government and people in the affected areas to overcome the consequences. The village assigned households in rotation, ensuring that 20-30 people would go to overcome the consequences of the flood each day, and it was expected that the work would stop when the recovery work was completed.

Comrade Nguyen Song Ha, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang 1 Ward, said that the work of overcoming the consequences of the flood is being carried out urgently and resolutely with the participation of many forces, including ethnic minorities in the highland groups of the ward. In order to ensure the health of the people in the highlands, the ward has arranged free meals, drinking water and temporary accommodation for people at noon.
Free repair of flooded motorbikes for people
In the work of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters in Ha Giang 1 and 2 wards, there have been many beautiful and meaningful actions in supporting people in areas affected by floods. These are free meals carefully cooked by mothers and grandmothers to bring to households still facing many difficulties or to forces participating in overcoming the consequences of floods; these are the feelings of organizations and individuals in many localities in the province who have supported food and drinking water.

During the recent floods, thousands of motorbikes were submerged and damaged in Ha Giang wards 1 and 2. To help people overcome difficulties, from the morning of October 4, Viet Nhat Petro Company, Hanoi City has launched a free motorbike repair and oil change program at the green park, Ha Giang 1 ward.
Mr. Do Van Nguyen, Director of Viet Nhat Petro Company, said that knowing that people were facing many difficulties due to floods, the company implemented a program to repair flooded vehicles for free for people. Using the company's products such as lubricants, brake pads, and motorcycle accessories, the company repaired, changed oil, replaced spark plugs, and cleaned the gas tanks of people's vehicles, ensuring that people could operate their vehicles again after coming to repair them.

On the morning of October 4, nearly 20 workers of Viet Nhat Petro Company repaired more than 100 motorbikes for people in Ha Giang wards 1 and 2. There are currently several hundred motorbikes in line, the company will continue to repair until the end of October 5.
Mr. Hoang Hong Cu, Ha Giang 2 Ward, said that during the recent flood, his family's motorbike was submerged in water. Immediately after the water receded, he took his motorbike to local motorbike repair shops for repair, but no shop would accept him because many shops were also affected by the flood, and other shops were too busy to accept him.

“Thank you for the free vehicle repair program of Viet Nhat Petro Company for promptly supporting me and the people in the flooded area to repair flooded vehicles. Without this program, I don’t know when my motorbike would be repaired to go to work,” Mr. Hoang Hong Cu emotionally shared.
There are many meaningful actions and deeds that are giving strength to the Party committees, authorities and people of the mountainous communes of Tuyen Quang province to overcome difficulties after heavy damage caused by floods.
