Recently, his book French-Indochinese Architecture, Traces of Saigon - Pearl of the Far East, published in 2025, won the Gold Award for Publication of the Vietnam Urban Planning and Development Association.

"Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City has its own beauty, not inferior to developed cities by the river such as London, New York, Shanghai or Singapore. Therefore, the more I research about Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City, the more I love my hometown like my second mother," Mr. Phuc Tien confided.

Mr. Phuc Tien said that since his university days, majoring in History, he has been interested in learning about the history of the South. He often went to the library to read research books by Vuong Hong Sen, Son Nam, novels by Ho Bieu Chanh, and from then on he became more and more "in love" with Saigon. Later, when he traveled abroad more and more, and had access to many documents related to Saigon, he became more and more interested in learning about this city.

Phuc Tien has just released a new publication, Saigon the River Capital (published by Tre Publishing House), with many precious documentary and self-portrait photos, or collected from many sources around the world . The book is more than 300 pages thick, made in the form of a "coffee table book" (a large-format book, beautifully designed, with many pictures), not only for reading but also has decorative and artistic value for the space.
