Accordingly, from November 17 to today, November 22, the railway industry has announced the suspension of 41 passenger trains.

The railway industry was heavily affected by floods in the South Central region.
From November 17 to 22, passengers returned more than 17,500 tickets of affected trains, equivalent to about 12.4 billion VND.

Passengers are provided with free meals.
In addition, to support passengers on board, the unit also serves free meals for 9,274 main meals and 6,093 side meals, equivalent to nearly 600 million VND.

Many passengers were assisted in transferring to suitable vehicles.
Previously, on November 21, when the road was able to move, the railway industry organized the transfer of nearly 300 passengers of trains SE2 and SE4 (stopping at Tuy Hoa station for 3 days) from Tuy Hoa station to Dieu Tri station to continue the journey.
This morning, 22 passengers on train SNT2 departing from Saigon station on November 19 were safely transferred by road from Thap Cham station to Nha Trang station.

A series of trains had to stop operating due to the impact of flooding in the South Central region.
Vietnam Railways Corporation said that infrastructure management forces are on duty 24/7 at key points to check, handle flooding, landslides and urgently restore the line. Train safety is given top priority before allowing operations to resume.
The railway industry will continue to update weather and flood developments to adjust train schedules. Passengers are advised to follow information from the station before traveling to avoid delays.
