In particular, the Association has always been at the forefront of supporting women in economic development and sustainable poverty reduction: The total outstanding loan balance of more than 6,000 billion VND managed by the Association has supported hundreds of thousands of women in accessing capital, creating livelihoods, increasing income and stabilizing their lives. Supported capacity building for nearly 4,000 female business owners, cooperative managers, cooperative groups, joint groups, and heads of production and business households; supported 4,325 women in starting and running businesses, helping 255,119 households with conditions for economic development; helped 20,035 poor and near-poor women households escape poverty and near-poverty. Organized hundreds of training courses on entrepreneurship, digital transformation, product consumption connection, Women Entrepreneurship Competition to promote the role of women in the collective economy, start-up businesses, provide consultation and vocational training for 172,560 women members and introduce and create jobs for 97,100 women members, contributing to the overall poverty reduction of the city. Mobilized more than 232 billion VND to build and repair 1,488 houses for poor, single, and disabled women in difficult circumstances.
Regarding the work of caring for and protecting women and children - building safe and happy families, the Association has maintained nearly 1,500 club models on law, preventing social evils, building happy families, preventing domestic violence and social evils. Programs such as "Godmother", "Happy Family Day", law clubs, child care... have been widely deployed, demonstrating the social responsibility and deep humane sentiment of the Association. Effectively implementing Joint Resolution 01, effectively implementing projects 404, 938, 939, 704 - 5 million mothers raising good children...; mobilizing nearly 3,000 women's groups to sign a commitment to not have relatives violating the law. Along with that, the Association has always been exemplary in environmental protection, practicing civilized lifestyle, building new rural areas and civilized urban areas: maintaining nearly 1,911 self-managed roads, hundreds of "Green Living" models, planting more than 80,000 trees, planting and caring for 642 km of flower roads, collecting waste, building toilets with ecological bricks, donating 12,000 m2 of land, implementing 2,400 works and tasks, actively contributing to building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, beautifying the environmental landscape.
