Ninh Binh province recently successfully organized the ceremony commemorating the 1100th anniversary of the birth of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang and the opening of the Hoa Lu Festival 2024.

This is the main event to honor the achievements and contributions of organizations and individuals in managing, preserving, and promoting the values ​​of heritage; to spread the values ​​of heritage, inspire enthusiasm and passion in the younger generation, love for their homeland, and national pride so that they understand, appreciate, and are proud of the historical Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, and the position and importance of the heritage to the nation, the people, and the world.

Furthermore, during the celebration, visitors to Ninh Binh will have the opportunity to participate in many unique and attractive activities before, during, and after the event. If you wish to experience a sacred and unique cultural space with rituals on the river, you can attend the Trang An Festival held on April 26th at the Trang An Eco -tourism Area.

According to representatives of the Hoa Lu Ancient Town Management Board, to practically celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Trang An Heritage Site, as well as the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024) and International Labor Day (May 1), in addition to regular activities, a special cultural program "Brilliant Hoa Lu" will be held in Hoa Lu Ancient Town on the evening of April 30, 2024.

This is a large-scale program, bringing together more than 100 artists, notably featuring the famous singer My Tam, promising to bring visitors and locals an exciting "musical feast". In addition, the "Brilliant Hoa Lu" music night will feature a spectacular fireworks display.

The program will be open to the public free of charge, with the aim of celebrating the outstanding global values ​​of the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex and showcasing the people and nature of Ninh Binh to friends both domestically and internationally.

Also on this occasion, the Khe Coc Island Cultural Space (Ninh Xuan commune, Hoa Lu district) will host many attractive and unique activities, such as the "Weaving a Touch of Lingering Affection" music night on April 27th and 30th, along with interesting experiences of traditional crafts and cuisine, promising to bring visitors a space rich in music, tourism, and culture of the ancient capital region.

According to tourism industry forecasts, the number of visitors to Ninh Binh during the April 30th and May 1st holidays will increase significantly. To ensure safe and well-organized activities and to promote the province's tourism image to a wide range of visitors, the Department of Tourism has issued a document requesting the Management Boards of tourist areas and sites, and tourism accommodation businesses in the province to ensure the quality of service for visitors during the 10th anniversary of the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site (2014-2024).

The request is for the management boards of tourist areas and attractions to implement comprehensive solutions to ensure the security and safety of tourists; to arrange for the reception of delegations and to create all favorable conditions for tourists to visit and explore.

At the same time, ensure compliance with tourism business regulations, strictly adhere to fire prevention and control regulations, environmental hygiene, and food safety standards, and guarantee the safety of tourists. Publicly display and sell goods and services at the listed prices, ensure quality, and avoid price gouging, soliciting, or forcing customers to buy.

Furthermore, in coordination with the Ninh Binh Tourism Association, we will encourage the Hotel Branch to implement policies supporting service prices for delegations, local people, and tourists during the event, contributing to promoting the image of Ninh Binh as a friendly and hospitable region and its people to domestic and international friends.

According to the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, tourism activities in the province in April 2024 were vibrant, with many large-scale tourism events organized, contributing to attracting a large number of tourists.

In April, the estimated number of visitors reached over 1,027,800, more than 2.1 times higher than the same month last year. The number of overnight stays at accommodation facilities was estimated at over 213,900, more than 2.6 times higher; the number of visitor nights was estimated at over 234,300, more than double the number of overnight stays in the same month last year.

Tourism revenue in April is estimated at over 993.7 billion VND, more than 2.2 times higher than the same month last year.

In the first four months of 2024, the number of visitors to tourist destinations in the province is estimated at over 4,934,100, more than 1.3 times higher than the same period last year. Tourism revenue in the entire province for the first four months of 2024 is estimated at over 4,621.2 billion VND, more than 1.5 times higher.
