According to the Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance Agency, Decision 166 of 2019 by the Vietnam Social Insurance Agency on the process of resolving and paying social insurance benefits and unemployment insurance benefits stipulates that the monthly payment of pensions and social insurance benefits begins on the 2nd day of the month in which the payment is made.

The post office in Ho Chi Minh City pays pensions and social insurance benefits.

However, since December 2nd falls on a Saturday, the Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance Agency announces the payment schedule for pensions and social insurance benefits for December 2023 as follows:

Firstly, payments will be made in cash: from December 2nd to December 25th, 2023.

Secondly, for cashless payments, Ho Chi Minh City Post Office will transfer the money to the beneficiary's account no later than December 2, 2023.

However, for beneficiaries with pension accounts at banks including: Vietnam Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (Agribank), Vietnam Investment and Development Bank (BIDV), and Asia Commercial Bank (ACB ), Ho Chi Minh City Post Office will transfer the money to the beneficiary's account on December 4, 2023 (Monday) because these banks are closed on Saturdays.
