Many major events of the science and technology industry in October

(Dan Tri) - In October, the Science and Technology sector will have many outstanding events. The 80th anniversary of the Post and Telecommunications sector, the 66th anniversary of the Science and Technology sector and the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress will take place on September 29.

The Ministry of Science and Technology is focusing all its efforts on completing four important draft laws to be submitted to the National Assembly at the 10th Session, including: the Law on High Technology (amended), the Law on Technology Transfer (amended), the Law on Intellectual Property (amended) and the Law on Digital Transformation. In addition, the Law on Artificial Intelligence is also being drafted to be submitted to the Government and the National Assembly.

The 80th anniversary of the Post and Telecommunications sector, the 66th anniversary of the Science and Technology sector and the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress will take place on September 29. This event marks the formation and development of the two sectors, honoring their great contributions.

In particular, at the Commemoration Ceremony, there will be an information lookup area of ​​more than 10,000 martyrs of the industry, paying tribute to the sacrifices of previous generations.

About 2,500 delegates and guests can also visit the digital museum, which displays the database of 162,000 leaders, officials, civil servants, and workers in the industry through the ages.

The National Innovation Day 2025, taking place from October 1-3, is a key event to connect the national innovation ecosystem, promoting links between state management agencies, businesses, institutes and international organizations. The event is organized by the National Innovation Center (NIC) in coordination with the Department of Innovation (SATI).

Another important event is the Vietnam International Digital Week 2025, which will take place from October 27-29 in Ninh Binh and Hanoi. This is an annual international forum chaired by the Ministry of Science and Technology, aiming to promote global cooperation and connection in the field of digital technology .

The event is expected to attract 500-1,000 delegates, including senior leaders of international organizations, ministers of ASEAN countries and strategic partners, and leaders of global technology corporations.
