Urgent evacuation of 60 people from the landslide area of ​​Ma Lau A village, Lung Cu commune

Due to heavy rain on the morning of September 30, in Ma Lau A village, Lung Cu commune, many serious landslides appeared, with rocks and soil flowing down close to residential areas, directly threatening people's lives and property.

The search for four missing victims is still underway.

Faced with the above situation, Lung Cu commune authorities coordinated with Lung Cu Border Guard Station to mobilize maximum officers, soldiers, militia and local police forces to organize an emergency evacuation of 10 households with 60 people in Ma Lau A village out of the danger zone and bring them to a safe place at the village cultural house.

Authorities helped people move their belongings to safety.

People were evacuated to safe areas.

Currently, forces are continuing to be on duty at the scene, searching for missing victims due to the landslide; placing warning signs, monitoring the development of rain and floods and being ready to respond if the bad situation continues to occur. Local authorities advise people not to return to the landslide area on their own to ensure the safety of life and property.
