With the theme: "The Good Stories I Tell," the 2nd "Making Electricity Saving a Habit" competition aims to find good stories, new initiatives, and effective electricity saving methods. It also seeks to review and assess the proven improvements in electricity saving solutions from households, offices, and businesses, so that everyone can learn from them and spread the spirit of electricity saving throughout society.

Speaking at the ceremony, Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Nien Newspaper Nguyen Ngoc Toan stated that the period from March to July is the peak of hot weather, and electricity consumption by customers usually increases rapidly, leading to a higher frequency of use of household electrical appliances, especially cooling devices and air conditioners.
"The culture of saving electricity is a process from awareness to action and ultimately to habit formation. Therefore, regularly publishing excellent contest entries on Thanh Nien Newspaper's modern media channels also contributes to spreading the positive image and responsible spirit of the electricity industry to the community in the current era of digital transformation," journalist Nguyen Ngoc Toan emphasized.

The second "Making Electricity Saving a Habit: My Interesting Stories" writing contest, co-organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper and EVNHCMC, offers total prizes worth nearly 100 million VND and is accepting entries from April 9, 2024 to July 10, 2024 (detailed rules can be found here).
