A "meeting place" for those who love exercising and improving their health.
For almost a year now, Dam Thi Kim Anh (28 years old) has become accustomed to the route from her home to the gym. This is perhaps one of the rare times of day when she can temporarily set aside the worries and responsibilities of family, children, and the daily grind to dedicate time to self-care and improve her physical and mental health.
Ms. Kim Anh shared: “After giving birth, I felt my health deteriorated significantly, often experiencing fatigue and dizziness. My body also felt heavier due to weight gain during pregnancy, and my stamina decreased. Therefore, I decided I had to sign up for exercise classes immediately to regain my health and figure, even though my job is quite busy.”
After researching many places, Ms. Kim Anh signed up for a training package at a club. There, she received guidance on working out with hydraulic resistance machines and exercises that were researched and designed to suit women of all ages and fitness levels, all within 30 minutes.
The exercises, combined with a scientific weight management program, help boost metabolism, burn excess fat, and create internal energy reserves in the body. Throughout the training process, the club's trainers will closely monitor, provide attentive guidance, correct posture, and ensure proper exercise techniques to maximize the effectiveness of the workouts and prevent injuries.
Ms. Kim Anh excitedly shared: “After a period of serious and persistent training combined with a scientific diet, I've noticed positive changes in my health and body, with improved indicators. I not only lost weight but, most importantly, reduced overall body fat, increased muscle mass, and improved endurance. I no longer experience frequent numbness in my legs, have less knee and back pain, and feel more agile. Therefore, I'm much happier and more confident.”
Here, she not only exercises and improves her own health but also meets and socializes with other women who share the same passion for fitness and sports, sharing many things from work to life. Importantly, it is also here that she gets to participate in charitable and community-oriented activities.
During the summer months, when parents have the motivation and time to seek out places for health-enhancing exercises, self-development courses, and workshops on flower arranging, baking, and cooking, children also have many ideal spaces that meet the criteria of "learning through play, and playing through learning."
One of the places many students and parents love to visit during the summer is the Provincial Library. To promote reading and create healthy, beneficial playgrounds that help young people develop intellectually, skillfully, and emotionally, the Provincial Library continuously modernizes its library system, reading rooms, and bookshelves with a diverse selection of excellent children's books; extends its opening hours from Monday to Sunday every week; and organizes more experiential activities...
The children's reading room at the Provincial Library is always bustling and lively during the summer months. The spacious, airy, and clean reading space features a modern design, attractive decorations, and a safe yet welcoming atmosphere for children and teenagers. The extensive collection of books covers a wide range of fields and genres, ensuring it caters to the diverse reading needs and preferences of the children.
Every week, the Provincial Library organizes children's summer activities for 2025. These activities include: themed reading; book quizzes; storytelling; dramatizations... The creative corner offers activities such as: making handmade crafts; assembling paper crafts; cutting, pasting, and decorating... Thematic activities include: learning English in a fun way, exploring history; children's singing; experiencing different professions... For those who love and have artistic talent, there are activities such as: basic musical instrument instruction; singing lessons and group games; drawing technique instruction; themed drawing; and art exhibitions... Children will no longer be so obsessed with TV, iPads, and phones if they know about and enjoy traditional folk games or intellectual games like chess and checkers...
Le Minh Huyen (a grade 8 student in Hac Thanh ward) said: “One of the places my friends and I visit most often during the summer is the Provincial Library. Here, we can freely choose from a wide variety of good books, including comics and literature. In addition, we can participate in many fun and practical games, interactive activities, presentations, and creative corners.”
Ms. Nguyen Minh Tam (62 years old, residing in Ham Rong ward) shared: “Although the distance from my house to the Provincial Library is far, partly because I don't want my grandchildren to stay at home all day, and partly because I want to limit their use of phones and television, I often bring them to the Provincial Library to read books, play, and have fun. From the facilities to the way activities are organized and the attitude of the library staff towards serving readers, I am very satisfied.”
Summer is always bright and full of energy. Depending on their preferences and needs, each person chooses ideal "destinations" to develop themselves, strengthen family bonds, and make friends. So that every day is a happy, healthy, and productive day...
