The South Korean and Italian fireworks teams are preparing for their performances in the 5th qualifying round of DIFF.
And, for the first time in the festival's history, beyond just fireworks and music , the stage by the Han River will witness a unique fusion of culture, art, and sports, with the special presence of football legends from Manchester United.
The appearance of six legendary Manchester United players in the stands at the DIFF (Dancing with the Stars and Stripes) has sent Vietnamese football fans into a frenzy of excitement. Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Michael Owen, Dwight Yorke, Wes Brown, and Teddy Sheringham – names that have made history for Manchester United – will not be on the pitch, but will instead join thousands of spectators in enjoying the light show over the Han River. This is not only a symbolic event but also a powerful boost to the image of DIFF, a fireworks festival that is increasingly gaining international stature.
Returning to the performances of the two teams, making their debut at DIFF, the Faseecom team from South Korea brings with them the aspiration to make their mark with a cinematic masterpiece titled "The Flying Dragon Dance". Inspired by the sacred dragon, a symbol of East Asian culture, and the iconic Dragon Bridge of Da Nang , the Korean fireworks team will lead the audience through a five-chapter journey of rich emotions: from the birth of the dragon, the growth of the city on the Han River, the rise of modernity, aspirations for the future, to a spectacular light show ending with dazzling explosive effects.
With its investment in modern technology and emotionally rich staging, Faseecom promises to be one of the most impressive newcomers at this year's DIFF. Faseecom representative, Mr. Choi Jonghun, shared: "We are not just creating a fireworks display, but a comprehensive visual and auditory experience. Each firework represents an emotion, each effect tells a story. Fireworks are not just for viewing, but also for feeling, understanding, and accompanying the transformation of Da Nang City."
Faseecom's opponent is a veteran name familiar to DIFF audiences – Martarello Group SRL, a renowned fireworks team from Italy. With a long history of achievements and a performance style that blends tradition and modernity, each appearance of the Italian team always makes enthusiasts anticipate a spectacular and inspiring show.
Legends from Manchester United will be featured in the fireworks display on June 28th.
According to the announcement, this year's "Harmony of Light - Opening the Future" performance will begin with gentle effects like the sunrise, symbolizing a new beginning. From there, the performance will move through layers of vibrant colors, expressing the energy, aspirations, and innovation of Da Nang city. The climax of the fireworks display will be a synchronized combination of music and powerful light effects, creating a spectacular symphony of light in the night sky over the Han River. Team leader Martarello proudly shared: "Da Nang is a special stage. Each time we return here, it's a challenge to do better. This time, we not only celebrate the spirit of innovation but also send a message about companionship, sharing, and striving together towards bigger dreams. We want to light up the Da Nang sky with faith and hope."
Beyond just fireworks and football legends, the DIFF 2025 stage on the evening of June 28th promises to be explosive with a spectacular art program featuring familiar and beloved faces such as singers Duong Hoang Yen and Le Anh Dung, dancesport champion Hoang My An, and professional dance troupes who will deliver fiery and captivating performances, energizing the festival atmosphere before the fireworks display begins.
When all these elements come together—from top-tier fireworks teams, creatively designed performance scenarios, appearances by sports and arts stars, to the dazzling backdrop of the Han River at night—audiences have every right to expect a "star-studded" light show, where all senses will be awakened and all emotions will soar.
