The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2026 is a "golden opportunity" for Da Nang tourism to make a strong breakthrough this summer.

Ticket prices are affordable for a wide range of audiences.

With the theme "Da Nang - United Horizons - Connecting Horizons," this year's Da Nang International Fireworks Festival holds special significance as it coincides with the city's new phase of development following urban expansion and its vision for regional connectivity.

The theme name expresses the close integration of nature, cultural symbols, architecture, tourism, and the modern spirit of a destination that connects, preserves national identity, interacts, and thrives in the new era.

The DIFF 2026 Organizing Committee announced that the festival will feature 10 fireworks teams, including Vietnam (2 teams), China, Italy, Germany, Portugal, France, Japan, Macau (China), and Australia. The opening night on May 30th, themed "Nature," will be a competition between Vietnam 1 and China. Following that, on June 6th, themed "Heritage," the competition will be between Vietnam 2 and France.

June 13th, themed around Culture, featured performances by Japan and Italy, while June 20th, themed around Creativity, saw a competition between Germany and Macau (China). The June 27th competition, themed Vision, was a contest between Australia and Portugal. The two best teams will advance to the final on July 11th, 2026, themed United Horizons.

Promising a thrilling and spectacular competition season.

This year's fireworks festival features four teams participating for the first time, promising to bring fresh and diverse performance styles, enriching the artistic identity of DIFF.

In this competition, two Vietnamese teams, Da Nang Fireworks Team and Z121 Vina Pyrotech, continue to participate, playing a role in connecting local identity with international fireworks styles. The combination of experienced names and newcomers is expected to create a competition full of discovery , surprises, and emotions.

According to many experts, the presence of two "giants" in the fireworks industry, Macau (China) and Japan, will make DIFF 2026 more competitive and exciting. Over six nights of competition, each night will have its own theme, but all will be connected in a unified narrative about Da Nang's development journey and its integration with Quang Nam.

The themes successively explored the city's core values, from nature, heritage, and culture to creativity and vision, culminating in the grand finale "Da Nang - United Horizons".

This is a "golden opportunity" for Da Nang tourism to make a strong breakthrough this summer. The event will not only create a short-term economic boost but also play a pivotal role in the strategy of building an international destination brand and promoting the development of the city's cultural industry in the long term.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Khanh (a resident of Hoa Cuong ward) expressed his hope that with many innovations in themes and the participation of talented individuals, DIFF 2026 will bring spectacular fireworks displays worthy of an international festival, contributing to the development of the local economy. Extending the number of competition nights gives audiences more time to fully appreciate the creativity of the competing teams.

The 2026 season is expected to go beyond the scope of a mere fireworks festival, as it will be accompanied by a series of spectacular fireworks displays along with large-scale, diverse, engaging, and highly interactive cultural, artistic, sporting, and entertainment activities throughout the event.

Technology continues to play a central role in enhancing the audience experience with the application of Sky AR technology, allowing viewers to interact directly with the fireworks display and personalize the experience on each device.

In addition, the LED laser system projects light onto the surface of the Han River and the buildings on both banks, transforming the festival space into a multi-dimensional stage, while real-time sound technology allows the audience to fully enjoy the music synchronized with the fireworks, regardless of their position within the event area.

According to information just released by the Organizing Committee, the fireworks viewing stands for the festival are arranged along Tran Hung Dao Street, opposite the stage on the Han River, and include the following areas: VVIP, A VIP, A1, A2, A3, and A4. Ticket prices for the opening night and the final night are higher than those for the qualifying rounds.

Specifically, the VVIP stands are priced at 4 million VND per ticket, offering a central location and a direct view of the stage. Next is the A VIP stands at 2.8 million VND per ticket. Accordingly, VVIP seats cost 3.5 million VND/ticket, A VIP seats cost 2.2 million VND/ticket.
