Although they were carrying out patrol and control duties in fishing grounds and combating IUU fishing in their assigned sea areas, the officers and crew of the ships thoroughly understood and strictly fulfilled their rights and civic duties.
Captain Bui Duy Minh of the KN365 vessel shared: “The election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and representatives to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term is a particularly important political event for the country, a festival for all citizens. Therefore, the Party committee and the ship's command have fully briefed officers and crew members on the meaning and importance of the election; they have thoroughly researched and understood the candidates before casting their votes. Being able to vote far out at sea, while on duty, each of us feels very proud and moved to be able to exercise our sacred right and duty.”
