International Yoga Day was declared on December 11, 2014. Since 2015, June 21st has been celebrated annually as International Yoga Day.
Yoga is becoming increasingly important to many people. It provides an environment and training principles that foster harmony between people. Furthermore, in the context of climate change and increasingly extreme natural disasters, people are realizing the need for greater harmony with nature. Yoga helps people connect with, feel, and understand nature more deeply.
The Yoga Festival at APEC Park in Da Nang once again helped the city's residents and tourists appreciate the unique characteristics of Indian civilization, people, and country. This is also a practical activity that contributes to spreading and developing the yoga movement and promoting yoga widely.
Yoga is expressed through the unity of body and mind, thought and action, self-control and fulfillment, demonstrating harmony between humanity and nature, and representing a holistic approach to health.
The widespread popularity of yoga in Vietnam reflects a deep awareness of the benefits of practicing yoga in Vietnam and its role in fostering profound cultural and human connections between Vietnam and India.
