The heartfelt wish of singer Viet Hoan

In response to World Environment Day and the 2025 Environmental Action Month, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism directed the Vietnam Contemporary Art Theatre and other units to organize an art program with the theme "Vietnam Forever Green in All Seasons".

The program features: People's Artist Thanh Lam, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Thai Thuy Linh, the Hanoi Children's Club drum group, beauty queens, models, and actors from the Vietnam Contemporary Art Theatre. The program is hosted and connected by the MC duo My Van and Danh Tung.

Speaking to VietNamNet reporters, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan said that having traveled to many places across Vietnam, he has always felt the wondrous beauty of Vietnamese nature. He often thinks that if music is the breath of the soul, then nature is the music of life. Without clean, green nature, singing loses half its emotion.

For me, protecting Vietnam's evergreen landscape doesn't need to start with grand gestures, but rather with small daily actions like reducing the use of plastic bags, minimizing plastic waste during performances, planting more trees, or simply keeping our living environment clean. These things may seem small, but if spread to the audience, especially young people, they will create a very positive change,” shared Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan.

Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan hopes that today's young people will not just live green as a fleeting trend, but will turn it into a way of life.

According to the general director, People's Artist Tran Binh, the program is not only a call to action but also a message that inspires everyone to envision a beautiful and prosperous country and understand that preserving that greenery means preserving life for themselves and for future generations.

"For me, art is the shortest way to touch people's hearts. No one can remain indifferent to the image of a once pristine river now stained with pollution; no one can help but feel saddened by the destruction of a forest... We bring all those images to the stage through the language of dance, music, visuals, narration, and the emotions of the artists," revealed People's Artist Tran Binh.

The special art program "Vietnam Forever Green Through Four Seasons" took place on the evening of June 5th at the Vietnam Cultural Space (16 Le Thai To, Hanoi).
