- Over the two days of June 24th and 25th, the 2026 Provincial-level Competition for Excellent Speakers and Propagandists took place vibrantly with many high-quality performances, leaving a deep impression on delegates and audience members. More than just a professional competition, it was also an opportunity for speakers and propagandists to exchange experiences, improve their skills, and disseminate best practices from the grassroots level.

Each contestant in this year's competition was well-prepared, bringing their own unique style to their presentations. The content of the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term was vividly presented and skillfully integrated into the propaganda presentations, closely linked to the practical realities of their agencies, units, and localities. This contributed to highlighting the role of speakers and propagandists in the current period.
The mark left by the young contestants.
As one of the two youngest contestants and the first to take the stage, contestant Hoang Van Duy (30 years old) from the Mechanized Reconnaissance Company Party Branch, Provincial Military Party Committee, received attention from many delegates from the very first hours of the competition. Entering the competition, the young male contestant displayed confidence and composure, presenting his topic "Building a Civilized Party in the spirit of the 14th Party Congress Resolution." With serious preparation, stage presence, and an easy-to-understand presentation style, Hoang Van Duy's presentation received applause from the audience and positive feedback from the judges.
Contestant Hoang Van Duy shared: "As the youngest contestant in the competition, and the first to step onto the stage, I couldn't help but feel nervous. However, I recognized this as a valuable opportunity to learn from other contestants, so I tried to stay calm, focus on delivering the best performance I had prepared, and see this as a chance to hone my skills and gain more experience for future propaganda work."
Similarly to contestant Hoang Van Duy, contestant Nong Hong Nhung, from the Police Branch of Huu Lung Commune, Huu Lung Commune Party Committee , is also one of the young contestants participating in the competition at the age of 30. With thorough preparation and a confident demeanor, she captivated the audience with her clear and engaging presentation.
Contestant Nong Hong Nhung shared: "I spent a lot of time researching materials, developing an outline, and practicing my presentation skills. I always wondered how to make my presentation not only accurate and complete in content but also engaging for the audience. Therefore, I chose a way of presenting that was relatable and easy to understand, while also applying information technology to increase its attractiveness and help people remember it more easily."

The emergence of young faces like Hoang Van Duy and Nong Hong Nhung shows that the work of building and training a team of speakers and propagandists in the province is demonstrating continuity and development. At this year's competition, there were 9 contestants aged between 30 and 36, accounting for about one-third of the total participants. This is a positive sign, affirming that the young workforce is gradually maturing, ready to continue and effectively promote propaganda work in the new phase.
Bring the breath of life into each exam.
While the younger contestants brought dynamism, confidence, and creativity to the competition, many others left their mark by choosing topics that were close to reality and related to issues of concern to cadres, Party members, and the people. Instead of simply conveying dry theory, the contestants skillfully incorporated real-life stories, successful models, and effective practices from the grassroots into their presentations, making the content lively, accessible, and highly persuasive.
One of the presentations that attracted considerable attention from delegates was that of contestant Hoang Thi Sen, Secretary of the Party Branch of Luc Bo village, Cong Son commune. She presented on the topic "Putting the Resolution of the First Congress of the Cong Son Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term into practical production in Luc Bo village." The presentation linked the resolution's content to concrete results in local economic development, clarifying the role of propaganda in bringing the Party's policies into life and the practical production of the people of Luc Bo village.
Ms. Sen shared: "To ensure the resolution truly comes to life, I focus on linking the propaganda content with practical issues, topics that people care about and can immediately apply to production and family economic development. When people see the practical benefits of implementing the resolution, they will proactively participate and actively respond. At the same time, I choose to disseminate the information in ethnic languages so that people can easily understand, remember, and feel a sense of closeness."
Not only in the performance of contestant Hoang Thi Sen, but a prominent common feature of all the entries was their close connection to real-life situations, clearly demonstrated by each contestant linking the content of the Party's resolutions and policies to specific issues occurring at the grassroots level. Gone were the days of theoretical, abstract presentations; many entries were "realized" with vivid examples from agricultural production, rural development, household economic development, digital transformation, and even community mobilization and maintaining security and order in villages...
This year, in particular, the application of information technology, the use of images, videos, and visual graphics has been widespread, contributing to making presentations more lively and engaging. This is also a trend being encouraged to innovate communication methods and meet the increasingly high demands of oral communication today.

Importantly, the contestants' presentations effectively utilized information technology, with images, videos, and illustrative models, making them easy to follow and understand. Through the competition, many good models and creative approaches were disseminated, contributing to improving the quality of work of speakers and propagandists in the province.
After two days of exciting competition, the contest has concluded, but the stories, experiences, and enthusiasm of the presenters and communicators still linger. The meticulous preparation of the Organizing Committee, the confidence, courage, and creativity of the contestants, and the enthusiastic support of the numerous delegates and audience members all contributed to the success of the contest.
At the end of the competition, the organizing committee awarded one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, several consolation prizes, and a number of special prizes to contestants with outstanding performances. However, the greatest value of the competition lies not only in the prizes but also in the shared experiences, the dissemination of best practices, and the spirit of innovation in propaganda work that was sparked by those working in propaganda.
Ms. Hoang Minh Thao, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, added: In the coming time, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department will compile excellent topics and outstanding presentations into training materials to be disseminated to Party branches; at the same time, it will continue to focus on training and nurturing a core team of speakers and propagandists to meet the requirements of the task. This will contribute to improving the quality of oral propaganda work in the new situation.
Through heartfelt presentations and practical stories conveyed with responsibility and creativity, the competition has spread a spirit of innovation among the propaganda workforce. The knowledge and skills acquired through the competition will continue to be carried back to the grassroots by speakers and propagandists, contributing to bringing the Party's guidelines and the State's policies to the people in a more accessible, understandable, and persuasive way. This will strengthen social consensus and create momentum for the successful implementation of the local political tasks.
