As one of the delegates invited to the announcement ceremony at the Na Rì commune (formerly Yến Lạc town), Mr. Hoàng Văn Nhạn, a former official of the Na Rì District Party Committee's Inspection Committee, could not hide his excitement. For Mr. Nhạn, this historic event is not only a revolution in the administrative apparatus but also brings hope for a brighter future for his homeland and country.

Na Rì commune was established by merging Sơn Thành and Kim Lư communes and Yến Lạc town (formerly Na Rì), with a total natural area of 112.73 km² and a population of 11,494 people. Its administrative headquarters are located in the former Yến Lạc town. After successfully testing the new administrative apparatus (on June 17th), the leaders of Na Rì commune are urgently implementing tasks according to the planned schedule.
“Each task assigned to officials aims to ensure the smooth and uninterrupted operation of the commune's administrative apparatus from the beginning of July. Focusing on eliminating temporary housing, disbursing funds from national target programs, and implementing the crop season… are the areas of work that the commune has identified as priorities once the administrative apparatus is stable,” said Comrade Nong Van Nguyen, Secretary of the Party Committee of Na Ri commune.

After the merger, the distance from her home in the old Son Thanh commune to the new commune center is nearly 20km, but for Ms. Hoang Thi Nguyen, it's not a problem. Ms. Nguyen believes she only goes to the commune office a couple of times a year, and many administrative procedures can be handled online. Ms. Nguyen hopes that after the commune merger, the province will have some factories and construction companies in the area so that her son can work as a laborer near home.
Mr. Ly Van Kien, from Hiep Luc village, Na Ri commune, expressed his wish: "For the people, the merger of administrative units will not significantly affect their lives. What we hope for after this major change in the organizational structure is that people will benefit more from policies. Rural infrastructure will become more synchronized, and models and projects will continue to be implemented in each village and for each family."

Operating the new administrative apparatus will present certain challenges, but with the spirit of unity, consensus, and the trust placed in it by the people, the Party Committee, government, and people of Na Ri commune in particular, and many other localities in Thai Nguyen province in general, will have the strength to enter a new phase of development.
