In the first phase (September 1), 8,196 households in Hoan Kiem ward received National Day gifts with a total amount of more than 3.3 billion VND, of which more than 1.1 billion VND was transferred via the VNeID system. In the joyful atmosphere of celebrating Independence Day, people highly appreciated the scientific and reasonable organization, limiting the situation of jostling and waiting.

“Gift giving activities not only have material significance, but are also an opportunity to strengthen people's trust, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party and State for the people on the occasion of National Day,” Vice Chairman of Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee Nguyen Hong Trang shared.
In Tay Ho ward, from early morning on September 1, cultural houses and community activity areas were crowded with people coming to receive gifts. Everyone's face was filled with excitement.

Payments are implemented synchronously in two forms: Transfer via VNeID and cash payment at residential groups. The application of digital technology helps the process of verifying and cross-checking information to take place quickly, accurately, while ensuring transparency.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong (resident group 13, Thuy Khue) excitedly said: “Thanks to the VNeID application, declaring and receiving money is very convenient. We are very touched by the attention of the Party, State and local authorities”.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hai (resident group 7, Xuan La) was moved to share that this was the first time he received a National Day gift on the occasion of Independence Day. “I will use this money to prepare a family reunion meal, to make Independence Day even more meaningful.”
The joyful atmosphere also spread in Cua Nam ward, where the gift-giving activity was organized methodically, publicly and transparently. The ward People's Committee directed the police force and residential group officials to coordinate closely, both ensuring security and order and supporting people to complete the procedures to receive gifts quickly.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Nam Ward Trinh Ngoc Tram said that according to the plan, all 9,875 citizens residing in the ward will receive gifts worth 100,000 VND/person. Payments will be made through social security accounts integrated on the VNeID application or directly in cash through neighborhood leaders and local police. The gifts, paid quickly and in accordance with regulations, will create a strong spread, bringing joy and trust to people on the occasion of the nation's great holiday.

Efforts to deliver gifts to the people
In Phu Thuong ward, the ward People's Committee proactively held a meeting to deploy and issue a plan to pay National Day gifts to people on August 31.
On August 31 and September 1, the payment was carried out simultaneously, with more than 5,118 citizens receiving gifts via VNeID accounts, the rest receiving them directly at 25 residential groups, with a total payment of more than 3 billion VND, reaching 94.7% of the plan.
The excitement of the people when receiving National Day gifts has made this year's Independence Day more meaningful. With the synchronous participation of the police force and the residential group cadres, the close and warm atmosphere has spread at the gift distribution points. The People's Committee of Phu Thuong Ward said that cases where people cannot receive gifts due to absence or incorrect information will continue to receive additional payments before September 15.

In Hong Ha ward, according to data, the total number of people receiving gifts is up to 118,206 people, spread across a large area. The ward People's Committee has organized 58 gift receiving points to ensure convenience for people.
Since August 31, the gift distribution has been implemented. As of 7:00 p.m. on September 1, 86/96 residential groups in Hong Ha Ward have completed delivering National Day gifts to the people. A bustling atmosphere pervades all gift receiving points.

The fast, scientifically and transparently organized National Day gift payment has multiplied the joy of the majority of the capital's people on Independence Day. This is also a vivid demonstration, affirming the superiority of the two-level local government model with the promotion of the spirit of serving the people.
