In the first phase (September 1st), 8,196 households in Hoan Kiem ward received National Day gifts totaling over 3.3 billion VND, of which more than 1.1 billion VND was transferred via the VNeID system. In the joyful atmosphere of celebrating Independence Day, residents appreciated the scientific and reasonable organization, which minimized crowding and long waits.

"The gift-giving activity not only has material significance, but also serves as an opportunity to strengthen people's trust and demonstrate the profound concern of the Party and the State for the people on the occasion of National Day," shared Nguyen Hong Trang, Vice Chairman of the Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee.
In Tay Ho ward, from early morning on September 1st, cultural centers and community gathering places were packed with people coming to receive gifts. Everyone's face shone with excitement.

Payments are made simultaneously through two methods: bank transfers via VNeID and cash payments at residential areas. The application of digital technology helps to ensure that the verification and cross-checking process is quick, accurate, and transparent.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong (residential group 13, Thuy Khue) happily stated: “Thanks to the VNeID application, declaring and receiving money has become very convenient. We are deeply moved by the concern shown by the Party, the State, and the local government.”
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hai (residential group 7, Xuan La) emotionally shared that this was the first time he had received a National Day gift during the Independence Day holiday. "I will use this money to prepare a family reunion meal with my children and grandchildren, making Independence Day even more meaningful."
A joyful atmosphere also spread to Cua Nam ward, where the gift distribution was organized systematically, openly, and transparently. The ward People's Committee directed the police force and neighborhood officials to coordinate closely, ensuring both security and order while assisting people in completing the procedures to receive gifts quickly.

According to Trinh Ngoc Tram, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Nam Ward, the plan is for all 9,875 citizens residing in the ward to receive a gift worth 100,000 VND per person. Payments will be made through the social security account integrated into the VNeID application or directly in cash through neighborhood leaders and local police. The prompt and proper distribution of these gifts will create a strong ripple effect, bringing joy and confidence to the people during this important national holiday.

Efforts to deliver gifts to the people.
In Phu Thuong ward, the People's Committee proactively held a meeting to implement and issue a plan to distribute National Day gifts to the people on August 31st.
Over the two days of August 31st and September 1st, the payment process was carried out simultaneously, with more than 5,118 citizens receiving gifts via VNeID accounts, and the remainder receiving them directly at 25 residential areas. The total amount disbursed exceeded 3 billion VND, reaching 94.7% of the plan.
The joyful atmosphere among the people receiving National Day gifts made this year's Independence Day even more meaningful. With the coordinated efforts of the police force and neighborhood officials, a warm and friendly atmosphere permeated the gift distribution points. The People's Committee of Phu Thuong Ward stated that those residents who were unable to receive gifts due to absence or incorrect information will receive supplementary payments before September 15th.

In Hong Ha ward, according to data, the total number of people who received gifts reached 118,206, spread across a wide area. The ward's People's Committee organized 58 gift distribution points to ensure convenience for the residents.
The gift distribution began on August 31st. By 7 PM on September 1st, 86 out of 96 residential areas in Hong Ha ward had completed delivering National Day gifts to the people. A lively atmosphere permeated all the gift distribution points.

The rapid, scientifically organized, and transparent distribution of National Day gifts has amplified the joy of the people of Hanoi on Independence Day. This is also a vivid testament to the superiority of the two-tiered local government model, which prioritizes serving the people.
