Visiting each ward and treatment room, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan, Vice President of the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society, kindly inquired about and encouraged those who could not reunite with their families and loved ones to celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year) in the new year; hoping that each patient would maintain faith and optimism in their treatment, overcome their illness soon, and be discharged from the hospital to return home.
Here, the delegation presented 102 Tet gifts to poor patients who are staying at the hospital for monitoring and treatment. Each gift was worth 500,000 VND in cash.
According to Binh Thuan General Hospital, the inpatients are severe and critical cases requiring monitoring and treatment, and they have to celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year) in the hospital. Some of these patients have no family members to care for them and are in difficult circumstances. The gifts, though not of great monetary value, help alleviate the financial burden and serve as a wish for peace and well-being, hoping to bring the patients more joy and reassurance during their treatment during the Tet holiday.

To ensure that "everyone can celebrate Tet," in the days leading up to and during the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, Lam Dong province organized numerous delegations led by provincial leaders to visit, extend New Year greetings, and present gifts to veteran revolutionary cadres, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, families with meritorious contributions to the revolution, influential figures among ethnic minorities, poor and near-poor households, households with difficult circumstances, armed forces units, and standing forces on duty during Tet in mountainous, border, and Phu Quy special zone areas...
In addition, localities throughout the province have mobilized resources to care for the Lunar New Year celebrations of policy beneficiary families, poor households, near-poor households, and households with difficult circumstances, ensuring that everyone can celebrate the New Year and no one is left behind. Committees, departments, organizations, agencies, businesses, and philanthropists have also joined hands to contribute to making the spring season warmer for those in need. "Zero-Cost Tet Markets" and programs like "Compassionate Tet - Loving Spring" have distributed thousands of gifts in the spirit of mutual support and compassion.
